Serendipity Co. Ltd. stands as Ghana’s sole commercial palm oil enterprise that partners with smallholder farmers while operating a “traditional” rural palm oil mill. The company’s products, certified organic and fair trade, are supplied to multiple brands across Europe and the United States, fostering significant rural development initiatives in the Eastern Region.
A highly proactive and meticulous HR Assistant is sought to enhance our team’s capabilities.
Oversee a range of critical responsibilities central to the role’s success, including [list key responsibilities here]. Assist in facilitating recruitment initiatives and new employee onboarding procedures to ensure a seamless integration of talent into the organization.
Responsible for managing and updating employee records and HR documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
Provide assistance with payroll and attendance management systems, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee data. Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to maintain compliance with company policies and labor regulations while addressing any discrepancies or inquiries related to compensation and working hours.
Provide administrative support for leave management and employee well-being initiatives, ensuring accurate tracking and compliance with organizational policies.
Compiles and drafts HR reports and official correspondence, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timely distribution to stakeholders.
Offer comprehensive administrative assistance to the Human Resources team, ensuring seamless daily operations and facilitating efficient workflow processes.
Demonstrated proficiency in a variety of software applications, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing are essential. Candidates must possess prior experience in project management, a deep understanding of industry regulations, and a track record of delivering results under tight deadlines. Additionally, expertise in data analysis, budget oversight, and team leadership is highly valued.
A degree or diploma in Human Resource Management or a related discipline is required.
Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in both written and verbal communication, alongside meticulous organizational capabilities.
Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with a strong understanding of their functionalities and features.
Demonstrates discretion and integrity when managing sensitive or confidential data, ensuring adherence to privacy protocols and maintaining the trust of stakeholders.
