• Uncover and cultivate new sales prospects within both general trade and modern trade sectors.
To enhance both numeric and weighted distribution metrics, this role will focus on increasing market presence and optimizing product availability across key retail channels.
Devise and implement strategic territory plans aimed at significantly increasing sales volume through systematic and organized approaches.
Collaborate effectively with importers to optimize efficiency in last-mile distribution processes.
• Verify that the product is consistently accessible at major retail points, including wholesalers, supermarkets, and kiosks.
• Keep track of inventory levels, promptly identify shortages, and oversee the replenishment process to ensure optimal stock availability.
• Maintain optimal product display and enhance product visibility.
Develop and execute promotional strategies alongside engaging in-store activation initiatives to drive customer engagement and boost sales performance.
Ensure the execution aligns with the established plan by monitoring and verifying compliance.
• Collect competitor insights (pricing, promotions, and new launches).

REQUIRED SKILLS:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Candidates must possess at least five years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java, Python, or C++. Demonstrated proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is essential, along with expertise in DevOps practices. Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills are also necessary to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is preferred.
Higher National Diploma (HND) or a Diploma in Sales and Marketing, or alternatively in Business Administration, is required.
A proven track record of at least 5–7 years in FMCG sales, with a preferred focus on biscuits, confectionery, or snacks, is required.
• Extensive expertise in the distribution frameworks and operational dynamics of the Togo market.
Demonstrates a consistent history of achieving measurable increases in sales performance.
• Demonstrated experience within a multinational enterprise or a leading local/regional Fast-Moving Consumer Goods organization.
Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in negotiation tactics and adeptly manages distributor relationships to optimize outcomes.
Experienced candidates should demonstrate a practical, field-focused approach, with a strong inclination toward direct involvement and real-world application.
• Proficiency in French is a fundamental prerequisite for this role.
• Demonstrates strong proficiency in both spoken and written English.
