• Responsibilities involve serving in both Kong and Exist as designated duty stations.

Conduct between 15 and 20 household surveys daily, ensuring thorough and efficient data collection while maintaining high standards of professionalism and accuracy.

Conduct thorough analysis of survey data to pinpoint prospective clients, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and market potential.

Establish and clearly define the boundaries of the designated work zones for each proposed group.

Engage in focused discussions with the selected participants in smaller group settings.

A team of five members will be assembled to work collaboratively on projects.

A designated leader will be chosen for each individual small group to oversee its activities and ensure cohesive collaboration among members.

Establish and lead a comprehensive group management committee consisting of key stakeholders and decision-makers to oversee and coordinate strategic initiatives.

Conduct a comprehensive two-week orientation program tailored to accommodate large groups of participants.

• Receive and process member admission fees in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the BRAD Ghana circular.

Enter group members’ admission data directly into the mobile phone or tablet, ensuring timely synchronization whenever feasible.

Responsibilities include coordinating meeting schedules, including dates, times, and locations, to ensure efficient planning and alignment with organizational objectives.

A team must be assembled consisting of at least 15 members for Microfinance (MF) and 10 members for Agra-Finance, with an upper limit of 30 members for MF and 20 members for Agra-Finance.

• Enroll new participants when a group’s size decreases due to attrition or other circumstances.

Organize and facilitate two to three group meetings daily, ensuring clear communication and productive outcomes.

Scheduled meetings will occur at 8:30 AM, 9:30 AM, and 10:30 AM, with the possibility of adjustments depending on office hours.

Arrive at the designated meeting location no later than 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the group meeting.

Arrange the participants in a U-shaped seating formation, grouping them by their designated small teams.

Responsible for recording and maintaining accurate attendance records in the official register.

Analyze common concerns regarding loan processes and address any additional inquiries.

Collect weekly installment deposits from designated small group leaders via their respective group cashiers, ensuring each transaction is documented with signatures captured on a mobile device.

Returning to the office is necessary once the group meetings conclude by 1:30 PM.

To mitigate the risk of robbery, cash collected from group meetings held in proximity to a branch must be deposited at that branch prior to attending any additional meetings.

Staff must adhere to established safety and security protocols throughout all stages of monetary transportation, ensuring compliance with relevant procedures at all times.

Facilitate thorough review and discussion of members’ loan proposals during scheduled group meetings to ensure comprehensive evaluation and informed decision-making.

Loan proposals are evaluated and accepted by casting verbal votes among group members present during the session.

The credit officer will be responsible for accurately inputting all loan-related information into the digital system, including loan applications and guarantor details obtained from DP Notes.

After confirming the accuracy of loan applications, establish an appropriate disbursement date and promptly notify the relevant members of the decision.

You must attend the disbursement event in person on the scheduled date to actively engage in the distribution process.

The Credit Officer is responsible for attending group meetings on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis and is tasked with ensuring the complete recovery of all loan installments.

Cash received must be promptly submitted to the Branch Accountant, who will then record the deposited amount in the Daily Cash Report (DCR) and provide a signature to confirm the entry.

If a borrower misses an installment during the morning group meeting, arrange for a follow-up visit to their residence or the small group leader’s home in the afternoon to collect the payment.

• Responsible for pursuing and collecting overdue payments, including late installments and NBL transactions, in the afternoon alongside routine current overdue collections.

Initiate the recovery of loans for clients whose accounts have been written off if they seek to re-establish their relationship with BRAD.

Attend weekly staff meetings as scheduled.

Compile regular reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Adhere to all policies and procedures outlined by BRAD Human Resources, ensuring full compliance at all times.

Demonstrate the ability to perform additional duties as assigned by senior management with a high degree of efficiency and professionalism.

Always comply with the Microfinance staff Code of Conduct and ensure clients are treated with the utmost respect at all times.

Dedicate efforts to delivering exceptional service quality to clients both in the field and at the branch location.

Demonstrate attentive listening to clients’ complaints, concerns, or opinions, ensuring appropriate actions are taken in response.

To foster a robust safeguarding culture throughout the organization, this role will drive the implementation of the institution’s safeguarding policy across all hierarchical levels.

Furnish comprehensive support, guidance, and specialized knowledge in safeguarding to cultivate and maintain a secure working environment.

• The incumbent will oversee the provision of appropriate training, support, and resource access for team members to address identified issues, ensuring full compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.

In the event of a reportable incident occurring, diligently adhere to established safeguarding reporting protocols and actively promote their use among colleagues.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel applications is required.
