Job Summary
The Husky Machine Technician is tasked with installing, operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing Husky injection molding machines integral to manufacturing processes. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Husky injection molding machines to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Perform routine inspections, adjust machine settings as needed, and diagnose mechanical or electrical issues promptly. Ensure compliance with safety protocols while handling equipment and follow all operational guidelines.
Conduct routine and emergency maintenance tasks on machinery and associated auxiliary systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Responsibilities include identifying and resolving issues across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ensure that all machines are correctly configured and prepared for production runs to maintain optimal performance and efficiency.
• Track operational metrics of machinery and implement modifications to enhance productivity levels.
Consistently reduce production downtime by performing timely repairs and conducting regular maintenance to uphold operational efficiency.
To guarantee that all products adhere to the prescribed quality benchmarks, meticulously conduct comprehensive inspections and implement corrective measures as necessary to maintain consistency and compliance with established specifications.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records and reports documenting all activities, inspections, and service history. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies by systematically tracking equipment performance, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules. Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings, actions taken, and recommendations for future maintenance needs.
Adhere strictly to all established safety protocols and organizational guidelines in every aspect of your duties to ensure a secure and compliant work environment.
Collaborate closely with production and quality teams to address and resolve technical challenges efficiently.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of machinery as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Effective written and verbal communication abilities are essential to convey complex information clearly. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis, is mandatory. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are required to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Prior experience in project management or a related field is preferred. Qualifications
A degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a comparable discipline is required.
With a minimum of two to five years of hands-on experience operating Husky injection molding machines, the ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in this specialized field to the role.
Proficient in injection molding processes and machinery operations, with a deep understanding of technical principles and practical applications.
Proficient in interpreting technical manuals and schematics with precision and clarity.
