The Husky Machine Technician is tasked with installing, operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing Husky injection molding machines integral to manufacturing processes. This position is essential in ensuring machines function at optimal efficiency, reducing downtime, and contributing to production goals while upholding stringent quality and safety protocols.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties to ensure operational efficiency and alignment with organizational goals, including strategic planning, team leadership, and performance management. Develop and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and resource allocation to optimize expenditures while maintaining fiscal responsibility. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Serve as a key liaison between senior management and departmental staff, facilitating clear communication and fostering a culture of accountability. Additionally, identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies to uphold organizational integrity.

Operate, maintain, and perform troubleshooting on Husky injection molding machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Execute both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on machinery and associated auxiliary equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Diagnose malfunctions in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to identify underlying issues and determine appropriate corrective actions.
Ensure all machines are correctly configured and prepared prior to the initiation of production cycles to maintain operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
Monitor machine operations to identify performance metrics, then implement appropriate adjustments as needed to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.
Minimize downtime by performing timely repairs and conducting proactive maintenance to ensure production efficiency remains uninterrupted.
To guarantee that all products adhere to established quality benchmarks, meticulously evaluate each item against specified criteria, verifying compliance with regulatory and organizational standards throughout the production process.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records and generate comprehensive reports to document all activities performed.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, supplemented by at least three years of hands-on experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with expertise in database management and cloud computing platforms. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in agile teams are required. Additionally, familiarity with DevOps practices and version control systems like Git is highly desirable.
A relevant qualification such as a Diploma, Technical Certificate, or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a closely related discipline is required.
Experienced professionals with 2 to 5 years of hands-on operation of Husky injection molding machines are required for this role.
Demonstrates extensive expertise in injection molding processes and the operational aspects of associated machinery.
