Conduct between 15 and 20 household surveys each day.
Identify prospective clients by analyzing survey data to pinpoint organizations or individuals that align with the company’s offerings and meet specified criteria.
• Establish clear boundaries for the designated work zones for each proposed group.
Facilitate discussions with the selected target participants in a small-group setting.
A team of five members will be formed to collaborate on tasks.
A designated individual will be chosen to serve as the leader for each small group.
Compose a senior leadership committee responsible for overseeing large-scale group operations and strategic initiatives.
Conduct a comprehensive two-week orientation program tailored for large cohorts of new members.
Collect member admission fees from individuals in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the BRAD Ghana circular.
Enter the admission details of group members into the mobile device or tablet and synchronize the data as frequently as feasible.
Schedule meetings by coordinating dates, times, and venues to ensure optimal attendance and productivity. Manage calendar invitations, confirm participant availability, and book appropriate meeting spaces or virtual platforms as required. Ensure all logistical details are communicated clearly to attendees in advance.
A team must be established with at least 15 participants for Microfinance (MF) and 10 for Agra-Finance, while the maximum allowed is 30 members for MF and 20 for Agra-Finance.
Responsible for enrolling new participants when a group’s size diminishes due to attrition or other factors.
Organize and facilitate two to three group meetings daily.
The meeting schedule is structured as follows: the first session commences at 08:30 AM, followed by the second at 09:30 AM, and the third at 10:30 AM. Please note that adjustments may be made to accommodate office hours.
Arrive at the designated meeting location fifteen minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the group meeting.
• Organize participants into small groups, then position them in a U-shaped arrangement to facilitate discussion and interaction.
Maintain accurate attendance records by systematically documenting students’ presence or absence in the register.
Facilitate comprehensive consultations regarding loan-related inquiries, as well as address a diverse range of additional financial concerns.
Collect weekly deposit installments from designated small group leaders via their respective cashiers, ensuring each transaction is documented with a signature captured on a mobile device.
Return to the office by 1:30 PM following the conclusion of the group meetings.
Cash received from group meetings held in proximity to a branch must be deposited at the branch office prior to attending any additional meetings to mitigate potential robbery risks.
Staff must adhere to established safety and security protocols throughout the transportation of funds to ensure the protection of both personnel and assets.
Members are responsible for presenting loan proposals for discussion during group meetings, ensuring every submission is thoroughly reviewed and deliberated upon.
Loan proposals are evaluated and accepted by means of verbal votes conducted in the presence of all group members.
A credit officer is responsible for accurately entering all loan-related information into the digital system, including loan applications and guarantor details sourced from DP Notes.
After confirming loan applications, determine and establish a disbursement date, then communicate the details to the relevant members.
You must attend the disbursement day in person to take an active role in the disbursement activities.
The credit officer is required to participate in weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly group meetings and must guarantee the full recovery of all loan installments.
Cash deposits must be promptly turned over to the Branch Accountant, who is responsible for accurately recording the deposited amount in the Daily Cash Report (DCR) and obtaining the required signature as confirmation.
In the event that any installment payment is not made during the morning group meeting, proceed to collect the outstanding amount in the afternoon by conducting visits to the residences of borrowers or small group leaders.
In the afternoon, commence follow-up on outstanding late payments and non-interest-bearing installments in addition to processing current overdue collections.
Should a client whose loan has been written off express interest in returning as a BRAD client, your role will involve initiating the process of loan recovery.
Attend the regularly scheduled weekly staff meetings to contribute to discussions and stay informed about team updates and organizational developments.
Prepare regular reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Adhere to the established HR policies and procedures set forth by BRAD to ensure compliance and consistency in all employment-related matters.
Demonstrate the ability to promptly and effectively fulfill additional duties as assigned by senior leadership.
Always comply with the Microfinance staff Code of Conduct and maintain a professional and respectful demeanor when interacting with clients.

To foster a robust safeguarding culture throughout the entirety of the organization, the candidate will be responsible for executing the safeguarding policy across all operational levels.

To oversee team members’ professional development, the role involves verifying that adequate training, guidance, and resources are provided in addressing and resolving concerns in compliance with the safeguarding policy and procedure.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: A proven track record in financial management, including budget development, forecasting, and variance analysis, with expertise in accounting software and ERP systems. Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis, supported by strong Excel skills, is essential. Exceptional communication abilities are required to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and present complex financial information clearly. The ideal candidate will possess a CPA certification or equivalent accounting qualification, along with a minimum of five years of progressive experience in a finance or accounting role. Familiarity with GAAP standards and experience in financial reporting are also necessary.
A high school diploma or its equivalent, such as the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), is required.
Handles cash and bank transactions, including the preparation of cash requisitions and cash certificates, as well as the reconciliation of bank statements.

Requires a minimum of twelve months of hands-on experience within the microfinance or broader financial services sector.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is required.
