We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team, responsible for overseeing key operational functions and driving strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of relevant experience in a similar role, along with a proven track record of leadership and project management. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing policies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and optimizing workflow processes. Additionally, the position requires strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and proficiency in industry-specific software tools. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior leadership is essential to achieve organizational goals.

The Social Media Manager serves as the ministry’s daily representative across all digital platforms, ensuring timely content dissemination in the appropriate format, channel, and with engaging captions. This role involves overseeing the online community, addressing comments, escalating sensitive discussions to pastoral leadership, and fostering engagement to transform followers into active partners or event participants.

This position focuses on strategic deployment rather than content creation, which is handled by the rest of the team. Your primary responsibility involves executing the deployment process and nurturing the resulting community.

Oversee and execute a range of critical duties encompassing operational efficiency, team leadership, and strategic project management, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance productivity while maintaining rigorous compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline workflows, and drive sustainable growth. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress, address challenges proactively, and provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership for informed decision-making. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and innovation within the team to achieve measurable results and exceed performance targets.

Responsibilities include coordinating and releasing all content across social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, potentially utilizing a scheduling tool, in accordance with the established editorial calendar.

Monitor all comment sections across the platform on a daily basis, addressing general user engagement, identifying spiritually sensitive discussions or prayer requests for pastoral follow-up, and ensuring compliance with community standards by moderating any content that violates established guidelines.

Oversee incoming direct messages across various platforms, ensuring inquiries are promptly directed to the appropriate contacts for resolution.

• Responsible for documenting weekly community engagement metrics, including comment and direct message volumes, as well as any significant interactions, and compiling these details into the weekly digital report.

Collaborate closely with the Content Designer to align caption scheduling and partner with the Video Editor to ensure adherence to platform-specific formatting guidelines prior to content publication.

Facilitate enhanced visibility and engagement for summits and related ministry events through timely live updates, dynamic social media storytelling, and immediate audience interaction.

Monitor emerging faith-centered discussions and cultural developments that resonate with the ministry’s target audience, then promptly bring them to the attention of the Creative Director as promising content suggestions.

Required Skills: Proven expertise in [specific skill 1], [specific skill 2], and [specific skill 3], along with strong proficiency in [relevant tool or software]. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities are essential, supported by excellent communication and collaboration skills. Candidates must demonstrate a track record of delivering results in fast-paced environments while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. Familiarity with [industry-specific knowledge or methodology] is strongly preferred, and the ability to adapt to evolving priorities is crucial. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development is highly valued.

What You Bring

Seeking a candidate with at least two years of hands-on experience in professional social media management, evidenced by a proven track record in effectively managing accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

Proficient in the mechanics of social media algorithms and community management strategies, with a strong emphasis on fostering authentic engagement rather than chasing superficial metrics.

Demonstrates exceptional written communication skills, especially in crafting conversational responses that precisely reflect the ministry’s perspective while maintaining a compassionate and pastoral tone.

• Requires the ability to discern appropriate engagement opportunities and identify cases that necessitate escalation. Not all comments warrant a direct response, nor should every response be personally handled by you, making sound judgment essential.

High availability and consistent performance are essential for this position, as the community operates continuously and requires uninterrupted support during active posting periods.

We seek candidates who resonate with the ministry’s mission and demonstrate an authentic grasp of the target audience—their identity, needs, and the ways in which the ministry effectively engages with them.
