• Duty Station : Accra
• Ensure accurate documentation of daily attendance, client movements, and scheduled business visits.
• Survey business, find out potential entrepreneurs and assess them properly through physical visit of entrepreneur’s business and residence.
Review all required documentation from prospective entrepreneurs, including trading licenses, land agreements, tenancy agreements, spouse consents, and details for nominees and guarantors.
• Compile and finalize all required documentation for loan disbursements.
• Collect all needed documents from the individual clients and for loan disbursements
• Ensure on time payment of monthly installment by Mobile money / bank
Compiles and maintains detailed reports and strategic target plans, ensuring thorough documentation throughout the process.
• Conduct follow-up visits with borrowers after loan disbursements to ensure compliance with terms and address any arising concerns.
• Conduct regular on-site inspections to verify the accuracy of disbursements.
Collaborate closely with Account Managers and legal counsel to execute the signing and commissioning of legal documentation.
Prepare weekly and monthly requisitions for loan disbursement to ensure timely and accurate fund allocation.
• Guarantee timely and accurate disbursement of funds while systematically addressing monthly overdue collections to maintain financial integrity and compliance.
Collect and submit information regarding the borrower’s or their dependents’ passing to insurers promptly.
• Pursue the collection of previously written-off loans and ensure proper deposit into designated accounts.
Consistently uphold the Microfinance staff Code of Conduct while maintaining a professional and courteous approach in all client interactions.
Dedicate efforts toward delivering superior service quality to clients, whether at the field site or within the branch office environment.
Listen attentively to clients’ complaints, concerns, and opinions, ensuring a thorough understanding of their perspectives, and respond with appropriate actions to address their issues effectively.
Compiling and submitting regular updates on project developments is a key responsibility. This includes gathering relevant data, analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring reports are accurate, timely, and presented in a clear, concise manner for stakeholders.
• Establish a safeguarding culture across all levels of the programme by implementing the safeguarding policy.
Serve as a primary resource for counsel, direction, and specialized knowledge in safeguarding to foster a secure workplace environment.
To uphold the safeguarding policy and procedure, the incumbent must guarantee that team members receive adequate training, continuous support, and necessary resources to address and resolve identified issues effectively.
Adhere to the established safeguarding reporting protocol whenever a notifiable incident occurs, and promote awareness of this procedure among colleagues.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Applicants must possess a Senior High School Certificate, specifically the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
Handles cash and bank transactions by preparing cash requisitions, issuing cash certificates, and conducting bank reconciliation statements to ensure accuracy and financial compliance.
• Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is required.
Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of professional experience within a microfinance institution or financial institution.
Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel proficiently, with a strong command of their functionalities and applications.
