JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Duty Station : Accra
Daily, you will verify attendance records, track client movements, and confirm scheduled business visits to ensure accurate documentation and operational efficiency.
Conduct comprehensive business evaluations by visiting entrepreneurs’ establishments and residences to identify and assess potential candidates for business opportunities.
Prospective entrepreneurs must provide and have their essential documents verified, including a trading license, land agreement, tenancy agreement, spouse’s consent, as well as information pertaining to nominees and guarantors.
• Compile and finalize all required documentation for loan disbursements.
Gather all necessary documentation from individual clients as well as materials required for loan disbursements.
• Guarantee prompt monthly installment payments via mobile money or bank transfer.
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of required reports and establish target plans.
• Conduct on-site visits to borrowers following the disbursement of funds to ensure proper utilization and compliance with loan terms.
Conducting regular on-site evaluations is necessary to ensure the accuracy and consistency of disbursements.
• Collaborate with account managers and legal professionals to finalize and execute legal documentation.
Prepare requisition schedules for loan disbursement on both weekly and monthly bases.
Ensure the precise and timely disbursement of funds while maintaining rigorous monthly collections for overdue accounts.
Ensure timely collection and submission of information regarding the borrower’s or their dependents’ death to insurers.
• Pursue the recovery of written-off loans and ensure their subsequent deposit into designated accounts.
Always comply with Microfinance staff Code of Conduct and interact with clients in a courteous and professional manner.
To consistently deliver unparalleled service excellence to clients, both in the field and at the branch office.
Comprehend and attentively address client grievances, inquiries, and suggestions, ensuring appropriate and timely resolution measures are implemented.
Prepare and file periodic updates on project advancements, ensuring timely submission of detailed progress reports as required.
By fostering a robust safeguarding culture throughout every tier of the program, you will ensure the effective implementation of the safeguarding policy.
Serve as a primary resource for counsel, direction, and specialized knowledge in safeguarding to foster a secure workplace.
Ensure all team members receive proper training, ongoing support, and necessary resources to address and resolve issues in compliance with the safeguarding policy and procedure.
Follow the established safeguarding reporting procedure immediately if any reportable incident occurs, and actively encourage others to adhere to the same protocol.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
A high school diploma or its equivalent, such as the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), is required for consideration.
• Prepares cash and bank-related transactions, including the preparation of cash requisitions and cash certificates.
• Conducts bank reconciliation statements to ensure accuracy and alignment of financial records.
Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel applications.
• Qualifications: A minimum of one year of professional experience within a Microfinance institution or a financial organization is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is required.
• Effective communication skills.
Proficient in crafting clear, concise, and accurate written content in English, with a keen ability to report facts and insights effectively.
