JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Primary Work Location: Accra

Daily attendance, client visitations, and internal movements are tracked and verified each day.

Conduct on-site evaluations at both business premises and residential locations to identify and thoroughly assess potential entrepreneurs, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their ventures and circumstances.

Prospective entrepreneurs must present essential documentation, including a valid trading license, land agreement, tenancy agreement, spouse consent, as well as details for nominees and guarantors, for verification purposes.

Prepare and finalize all required documentation for loan disbursements to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures.

Gather all necessary documentation from individual clients to facilitate loan disbursements.

Ensure that monthly installments are paid punctually, utilizing either mobile money or bank transfer methods.

Prepare and maintain detailed reports as well as comprehensive target plans, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Conduct post-disbursement visits to borrowers’ locations to assess their eligibility and ongoing compliance with loan terms.

Conduct regular on-site inspections to verify the accuracy of disbursements.

• Collaborate closely with Account Managers and legal representatives to finalize and execute the signing and commissioning of legal documents.

Prepare and submit weekly and monthly requisitions for loan disbursement to ensure timely allocation of funds.

Our primary responsibility is to oversee the quality disbursement of funds and ensure timely monthly collections of overdue amounts.

Gather and submit information regarding the death of a borrower or their dependents to insurers promptly to ensure timely processing.

• Pursue the recovery of written-off loans by collecting payments and depositing funds into designated accounts.

Consistently comply with the Microfinance staff Code of Conduct and interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

Dedicate efforts to delivering exceptional service quality to clients, whether they are encountered in the field or within the branch office.

Demonstrate attentive listening to clients’ complaints, concerns, and opinions while evaluating their feedback to determine suitable resolutions.

Compiles and submits periodic progress reports detailing project milestones, challenges, and updates to stakeholders.

To foster a safeguarding culture throughout every tier of the program, implement and uphold the safeguarding policy, ensuring its principles are integrated into all operations and decision-making processes.

Serve as an essential resource for advice, direction, and specialized knowledge on safeguarding practices to cultivate a secure work environment.

To facilitate the professional development and well-being of team members, this role involves overseeing the provision of necessary training, guidance, and resources aligned with identified issues and safeguarding policies. Additionally, the position ensures compliance with established procedures to support staff in effectively addressing safeguarding concerns.

Adhere to the safeguarding reporting protocol whenever a reportable incident occurs, and actively promote compliance among colleagues.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Applicants must possess a Senior High School Certificate, specifically a WASSCE qualification, as the minimum educational requirement.

Responsible for managing all cash and bank-related activities, including preparing cash requisitions and cash certificates, as well as conducting bank reconciliation statements.

Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel applications is required.

• Qualifications: Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of professional experience in the microfinance or financial services sector.

Skilled in utilizing Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel proficiently is required.

Effective communication skills are essential for this role.

• Writing and reporting skills in English
