• Responsible for identifying mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions in heavy-duty vehicles, including Sitrak and How models, as well as earthmoving equipment such as Shanty bulldozers and loaders.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, conduct comprehensive engine overhauls, execute transmission repairs, and service brake systems, suspension assemblies, and steering components.
Perform welding and fabrication repairs on chassis, frames, and related attachments as required to maintain structural integrity and operational functionality.
Leverage diagnostic tools and service manuals to accurately diagnose problems and execute appropriate corrective measures.
Accurately document all repair activities, including the parts utilized and the total labor hours expended.
• Verify that all work adheres strictly to manufacturer specifications and established safety standards.
Manage the inventory of frequently utilized spare parts and provide guidance on reordering as necessary.
Responsibilities include providing guidance and mentorship to junior mechanics and apprentices as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS: A proven track record in project management, with expertise in coordinating cross-functional teams to meet deadlines efficiently. Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Microsoft Project, Trello, or Asana is essential. Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and make informed decisions are critical. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to convey complex information clearly.
