The ideal candidate will possess the requisite experience and expertise to execute key responsibilities, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives. This role demands a proactive approach, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Successful applicants must meet all specified qualifications and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional results in a dynamic work environment.

As the driving force behind the digital team’s production, the Video Editor plays a pivotal role in refining and elevating raw footage—including the founder’s sermons, teachings, and event recordings—into compelling content designed to captivate millions on Facebook and YouTube each week. This specialized position demands more than technical proficiency; it requires keen editorial discernment to identify and distill the most impactful 90-second segments from hour-long sermons, the expertise to execute edits with broadcast-quality precision, and a thoughtful approach to preserving the integrity and spiritual essence of the founder’s message.

You will oversee the production of Reels for both Facebook and Instagram, manage YouTube uploads, and establish streamlined live-streaming workflows for events and services. Collaboration with the Social Media Manager is essential to ensure content is properly formatted and optimized for each platform prior to publication.

Oversee and execute core duties encompassing strategic planning, team leadership, and operational efficiency to drive organizational success, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance productivity, compliance, and performance across departments. Collaborate with senior management to identify growth opportunities, mitigate risks, and optimize resource allocation. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress, address gaps, and implement corrective actions as necessary. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement through coaching, mentoring, and professional development initiatives. Manage cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to budgetary and quality standards. Serve as a liaison between executive leadership and frontline teams to facilitate clear communication and streamline decision-making processes.

Edit and package sermon content into clips optimized for various social media platforms, including Reels (60–90 seconds), YouTube Shorts, Facebook video clips, and full-length videos, ensuring delivery on a consistent weekly schedule.

Oversee the YouTube channel’s production workflow, ensuring timely uploads, meticulous thumbnail reviews, precise chapter marker implementation, and optimized video descriptions to maintain a consistent publishing schedule.

Craft engaging Instagram and Facebook Reels by incorporating caption overlays, selecting optimal audio, and tailoring the content to meet the unique formatting requirements of each platform.

• You will design and oversee a dynamic live stream production workflow specifically for GPWS events and services, collaborating closely with Dominion Studios to execute productions at an event scale.

Maintain a systematically organized video archive within Google Drive, encompassing footage, exported files, and project files, by adhering to the established naming conventions and folder structure defined by the team.

Stay updated on evolving platform algorithms impacting video performance, with a strong focus on Facebook’s 1-minute view threshold and YouTube’s watch time and retention metrics, and modify editing strategies to align with these changes accordingly.

Required competencies include a minimum of five years of experience in a relevant field, along with proficiency in project management software such as Asana or Trello. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and the capacity to work effectively under tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as the role involves frequent collaboration with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with data analysis tools like Excel or SQL is preferred, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is required. Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role is advantageous.

What You Bring

Professional video editing experience of at least three years is required, supported by a portfolio showcasing expertise in both long-form and short-form content.

Professional proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or da Vinci Resolve is essential. Experience with Cap Cut for Reels production is advantageous.

• Proficiency in social media video formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific optimization techniques is required.

Editorial discernment, coupled with the capacity to review an hour of footage and pinpoint the key moments, is essential.

A demonstrated dedication to consistent, high-quality performance within a structured weekly content schedule is essential, as this position requires a sustained commitment to production rather than isolated project-based work.
