The Video Editor serves as the driving force behind the digital team’s operations, tasked with converting the founder’s sermons, teachings, and event recordings into compelling content distributed weekly to millions on Facebook and YouTube. This specialized role demands more than standard video editing expertise—it requires keen editorial discernment to identify the most impactful 90-second segments from a 60-minute sermon capable of halting viewers mid-scroll, technical precision to deliver results at a broadcast-grade level, and a deep sense of reverence in preserving the integrity of the founder’s message.

You will oversee the creation of Reels content for Facebook and Instagram, manage YouTube uploads, and establish streamlined live stream workflows for events and services. Collaboration with the Social Media Manager is essential to ensure content is tailored and optimized for each platform prior to publication.

Oversee a range of critical responsibilities, including the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Manage cross-functional teams to drive project execution, fostering collaboration and accountability at every stage. Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to assess progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed. Lead stakeholder engagement efforts to maintain strong relationships, address concerns, and secure buy-in for key decisions. Additionally, ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies while upholding the highest standards of operational excellence.

Edit and package sermon content into platform-specific video formats, including Reels (60–90 seconds), YouTube Shorts, Facebook video clips, and full-length uploads, maintaining a consistent weekly schedule.

Oversee the YouTube channel’s operational workflow, including strategic upload scheduling, thorough thumbnail evaluations, precise chapter marker implementations, refined description optimizations, and consistent content delivery.

Develop engaging Instagram and Facebook Reels by incorporating caption overlays, optimizing audio, and tailoring content to meet each platform’s unique formatting requirements.

Develop and maintain an efficient, live stream production workflow tailored for GPWS events and services, collaborating closely with Dominion Studios to ensure seamless, large-scale production execution.

Maintain a meticulously structured video archive on Google Drive, organizing footage, exported files, and project files according to the predefined naming conventions and folder hierarchy established by the team.

To remain abreast of evolving platform algorithms impacting video efficacy, with special emphasis on Facebook’s 1-minute view threshold and YouTube’s watch time and retention metrics, one must continuously refine editing strategies to align with these changes.

Demonstrated proficiency in relevant technical and interpersonal competencies is essential. Candidates must possess a strong foundation in [specific skills, e.g., data analysis, project management, or software development], along with the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. What You Bring

Demonstrates a solid grasp of social media video formats, aspect ratios, and the optimization strategies required for each platform.

Demonstrates strong editorial judgment, efficiently reviewing an hour of footage to discern and extract the most impactful moments.

A commitment to diligence and the capacity to deliver dependable results within a structured weekly content schedule are essential for this role. Unlike project-oriented positions, this role demands continuous production and sustained performance.

You must share the ministry’s theological convictions and demonstrate a strong commitment to its doctrinal foundations.
