SIGMA will enhance the resilience of Ghanaian citizens—especially women, girls, and vulnerable populations—by scaling investments in inclusive, gender-responsive climate adaptation measures. The initiative begins by delivering technical assistance and capacity-building to key institutions within Ghana’s Public Administration, while also awarding direct grants to five districts to implement localized, gender-inclusive climate adaptation projects. DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION
Reporting to the Team Leader and receiving guidance from the Environment and Climate Change Specialist, the Engineering Consultant will oversee the design and construction quality of climate-resilient infrastructure in rural areas, including solar-powered boreholes, solar-powered irrigation systems, pedestrian bridges, word-processing hubs, and other relevant facilities.
