Facilitate bi-weekly meetings with AIM savings groups to provide guidance and support.

The meeting schedule is structured as follows: the first session at 8:30 AM, the second at 9:30 AM, and the third at 10:30 AM, with the possibility of adjustments contingent upon office hours.
Arrive at the designated meeting location no later than 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the group meeting.
Provide assistance in delivering Financial Literacy Training (FLT) sessions as needed.
Educate participants in cultivating disciplined savings practices while ensuring their preparedness for future engagement with Microfinance services.
Facilitate the seamless transition of qualified participants into Microfinance groups following the conclusion of the 18-month savings cycle.
Assist in evaluating and facilitating the enrollment of individuals deemed ready for loan approval.
Compiles and generates routine reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to track key metrics and performance indicators.

The credit officer will input all loan-related information, including loan applications and guarantor details from DP Notes, into the digital system.

The credit officer is expected to consistently participate in weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly group meetings while maintaining a stringent focus on achieving a complete recovery of all loan installments.
Collected funds are deposited into the Branch Accountant’s account and meticulously recorded in the Daily Cash Report (DCR), with a formal signature affixed to validate the entry.
In the event that any payment is not received during the morning group meeting, arrange for the collection of the payment in the afternoon by visiting the homes of borrowers or their small group leaders.
• Conduct late and NBL installment collections in the afternoon, ensuring all overdue payments are addressed.
Should a client whose loans have been written off express interest in rejoining BRAD, the individual will be responsible for initiating the loan recovery process.
Build and sustain courteous, professional connections with every participant involved in the initiative, ensuring interactions reflect respect and high standards of conduct at all times.
Listen attentively to participants’ concerns, complaints, and input, and respond with suitable measures as needed.
Adhere to all protocols and guidelines established by BRAD Human Resources to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
Uphold the established Code of Conduct and safeguarding policies of the organization at all times.
Execute all other duties as directed by senior leadership as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
A high school certificate, specifically WASSCE, is required.
A minimum of one year of professional experience within a financial institution or a comparable field is required.
Handles daily cash and bank transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies. Prepares cash requisitions and cash certificates, and maintains bank reconciliation statements to verify financial records and resolve discrepancies.
Proficient in using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel applications.
