The project’s strategy encompasses three key components: delivering technical assistance and capacity-building support to bolster governance and institutional systems within Ghana’s Public Administration; awarding direct grants to five districts to implement locally led, gender-responsive climate adaptation projects; and collaborating with regional government stakeholders in the Northern and Volta regions to fortify district-level capabilities in planning, executing, and monitoring climate adaptation measures.
