Job Summary

The Trade Developer will spearhead field-level sales initiatives and optimize market coverage, enhancing brand visibility while boosting agent productivity and consistently meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales objectives within their designated territory.

Oversee and manage a diverse range of critical tasks, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and accountability. Develop and implement strategies to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and drive continuous improvement across departments. Facilitate clear communication and collaboration among stakeholders to foster a cohesive work environment. Monitor performance metrics to evaluate progress, identify areas for optimization, and implement corrective measures as needed. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices to uphold operational integrity and risk management.

Facilitate wallet activation initiatives and guarantee that customers complete their initial transactions to maximize engagement and usability.

• Support onboarding drives in markets, campuses, transport hubs, and community events.

Proactively engage with and integrate new individual merchants and small-to-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) into the platform.

Ensure merchants grasp the full range of product features and benefits with clarity and precision, enabling them to effectively communicate their value to customers. Provide comprehensive guidance on how these advantages align with merchant needs and market demands, fostering informed decision-making.

• Facilitate agents in executing customer acquisition initiatives and promotional campaigns to drive engagement and sales.

Conceive, organize, and carry out field marketing initiatives and promotional events to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.

Maintain precise documentation of every onboarding-related procedure to ensure comprehensive and error-free records.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Proficiency in written and verbal communication, including the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely. Strong problem-solving aptitude with a track record of identifying innovative solutions to technical challenges. • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in field sales.

• Experience in Mobile Money, Banking, Telecom, FMCG, or related industry preferred.

• Demonstrated working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms.

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Word, is essential for this role.

Demonstrates a strong aptitude for analyzing sales targets and evaluating performance metrics to drive strategic decision-making.

Proficiency in the mobile money ecosystem and digital payment platforms would be considered advantageous.
