Handles monetary transactions efficiently and accurately at the point of sale, including processing payments, giving change, and balancing the cash drawer. Responsible for providing friendly and professional customer service, answering questions about products or promotions, and resolving simple issues. Must maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, and perform opening and closing register duties as required. Requires basic math skills, familiarity with a cash register or POS system, and the ability to stand for extended periods. Previous retail or cash-handling experience is preferred but not mandatory.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
A high school diploma from a Secondary High School (SHS) is required for this position.
Capable of adapting to varied work schedules, including evenings, weekends, or extended shifts as needed to meet operational demands.
Valid possession of a Ghana Card is mandatory.
Experiencing professionals are strongly preferred.
