Handles customer transactions accurately and efficiently, processing payments and providing change as needed. Responsible for maintaining a balanced cash drawer, reconciling daily sales reports, and adhering to company cash handling policies. Assists customers with purchases, answers product-related inquiries, and ensures a positive shopping experience. Must possess strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and prior cashier experience are preferred.
Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline. Demonstrates proficiency in at least two programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++. Experience with databases, including SQL and NoSQL solutions, is essential. Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, is required. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team setting are necessary. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are also crucial for success in this role.
