Handles customer transactions at the point of sale, including processing payments, dispensing change, and issuing receipts with accuracy and efficiency. Responsible for maintaining a balanced cash drawer and adhering to established cash handling procedures to ensure financial integrity. Provides friendly and professional service to enhance customer satisfaction while resolving basic inquiries or directing them to appropriate staff when necessary. Must possess strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Previous cashier experience and proficiency with point-of-sale systems are preferred.
Proficient communication abilities, both verbal and written, are essential for this position.
