JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Work Location: Ellembelle District, Western Region, Ghana.
• Starting: 01/07/2026
• Contract duration: 6 months, renewable
• The VIS GHANA Project Manager will serve as the designated referee for all project-related inquiries and assessments.
Coordinate and oversee field-level project operations to ensure adherence to the established activity schedule and timely project completion.
Perform consistent data collection and analysis to monitor project advancement.
• Coordinate communication and facilitate information sharing among the project team, implementing partners, and project beneficiaries at the community level.
Compile monthly and operational reports while consistently providing updates on ongoing activities, including multidisciplinary assessments.
Collaborate with diverse community stakeholders to actively engage and mobilize community leaders, representatives, and local government officials, ensuring their integral participation in the execution and enhancement of project initiatives.
Oversee the operational components of the scholarship initiative, which encompasses the coordination of application procedures, correspondence with recipients, and organization of pertinent documentation.
Monitor daily expenditures, gather the necessary supporting documentation, and verify that all expense-related records are submitted to the administrative office in a timely manner.
Oversee on-site procurement operations by assessing requirements, engaging potential vendors, securing competitive bids, and guaranteeing adherence to established organizational standards and protocols.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Project Manager to ensure the organization’s service standards are consistently met.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets and generate insightful reports. Experience with project management tools such as Asana or Trello is advantageous. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce is a plus. Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or an equivalent qualification in a related field is required.
With a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in international cooperation, candidates should demonstrate a strong background in community development and mobilization initiatives.
Accumulated experience in a comparable position is required.
Experienced professionals with a proven track record in overseeing and directing field-based operational activities are encouraged to apply.

• Previous work experience in the Western region;
Proficient in using computer systems with a strong emphasis on the Microsoft Office suite.
• Previous experience in the education sector and TVET environment;
Proven expertise in collecting both qualitative and quantitative data is required.
Capable of cultivating relationships and maintaining clear communication with a diverse range of stakeholders.
