• The position is located in the Ellembelle District, Western Region of Ghana.

We are pleased to announce an opening available from July 1, 2026.

A six-month contract opportunity is available, with the potential for renewal upon successful completion of the initial term.

• The Project Manager for the VIS GHANA initiative is responsible for overseeing all project activities and ensuring adherence to established guidelines.

Coordinate and oversee on-site project operations to guarantee that all implementation activities adhere to the predetermined schedule outlined in the detailed activity plan.

• Perform consistent data collection and analysis to monitor the advancement of projects.

Facilitate seamless communication and exchange of critical information among the project team, collaborating partners, and local community beneficiaries to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the initiative.

• Compile monthly and operational reports, providing regular updates on ongoing activities, including multidisciplinary assessments.

Collaborate with a diverse array of community stakeholders and encourage their engagement to guarantee that community leaders, representatives, and local government officials are actively involved in the execution and enhancement of project activities.

Responsible for managing all logistical elements of the scholarship program, this role involves coordinating application procedures, maintaining regular communication with recipients, and overseeing the organization and processing of all associated documentation.

• Responsible for overseeing daily expenditures, gathering necessary supporting documentation, and submitting all expense-related records to the administrative office in a timely manner.

Oversee on-site procurement activities by assessing requirements, identifying potential suppliers, soliciting competitive quotes, and ensuring adherence to established organizational policies and procedures.

Additional responsibilities and tasks may be assigned at the discretion of the Project Manager to ensure alignment with the organization’s service standards and operational objectives.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or an equivalent field is required.

Experienced professionals with a minimum of three years in international cooperation, particularly in community development and mobilization, are encouraged to apply.

Candidates must possess prior work experience in a comparable position.

Experienced in overseeing field operations, with a proven track record of effectively coordinating and directing on-site activities to ensure optimal performance and adherence to organizational goals.

• Demonstrated success in a procurement-related role, with a proven track record of managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and optimizing supply chain processes.

Comprehensive experience in logistics operations is required for this role.

Individuals with prior professional experience in the Western region are encouraged to apply.

Proficient in utilizing computer systems, with a strong command of the MS Office suite, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Proven track record in the education sector, specifically within Technical and Vocational Education and Training (VET) environments;

• Proven track record in gathering both qualitative and quantitative data.
