Job Summary
The Husky Machine Technician installs, operates, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs Husky injection molding machines to support manufacturing operations. This position focuses on optimizing machine performance, reducing downtime, and meeting production goals while upholding stringent quality and safety protocols.
Oversee a range of critical tasks, including managing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. Deliver detailed reports on project progress, address any operational challenges, and implement solutions to maintain efficiency. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to clarify objectives, align resources, and resolve discrepancies. Additionally, monitor performance metrics to identify trends, assess risks, and propose improvements for continuous enhancement.

Operate, maintain, and perform troubleshooting on Husky injection molding machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Conduct routine and non-routine maintenance on machinery and supporting systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Identify and resolve issues within mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems through systematic analysis and troubleshooting techniques.
Ensure all machines are correctly configured and prepared for each production cycle to maintain operational efficiency and quality.
Monitor machine operations closely to identify opportunities for performance enhancements, implementing timely adjustments as needed to optimize overall efficiency.
Proactively reduce production downtime by executing timely repairs and performing regular maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and operational continuity.
The incumbent is responsible for verifying that all products conform to established quality standards before they are released or delivered.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records and reports.
Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and company-established guidelines at all times.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to address and resolve technical challenges.
Assist with the installation and commissioning of machinery as needed.
Required competencies include proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel for data analysis and reporting. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Additionally, prior experience in project coordination, process improvement, or administrative support is highly desirable.
Seeking a highly motivated professional with a strong educational background in a relevant field, such as a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. A minimum of three years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or accounting is required, along with proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities are essential, along with a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and reporting standards is a plus.
Hold a Diploma, Technical Certificate, or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or an equivalent field.
With a minimum of two to five years of hands-on experience operating Husky injection molding machines, the ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in managing and maintaining these systems.
