JOB DESCRIPTION:

The position is based in the Ellembelle District of Ghana’s Western Region.

Commencing on July 1, 2026, the anticipated start date for this position is established.

The position is offered on a six-month contract basis, with the possibility of renewal upon successful completion of the initial term.

• The Project Manager for the VIS GHANA initiative will oversee all aspects of the project’s execution, ensuring alignment with established goals and deliverables while managing stakeholder expectations and reporting requirements.

Coordinate and oversee field-level project operations, ensuring that all implementation schedules align with and meet the detailed activity plan.

Perform routine data collection and analysis to track and evaluate project progress consistently.

• Serve as the central liaison to ensure seamless communication and the efficient exchange of information among the project team, implementing partners, and community-level beneficiaries.

• Compile monthly and operational reports, providing regular updates on ongoing activities, including multidisciplinary assessments.

Engage collaboratively with diverse community stakeholders to rally their participation, ensuring that community leaders, representatives, and local government officials are fully integrated into the project’s implementation and enhancement efforts.

Responsibilities include managing the logistical components of the scholarship program, such as coordinating application procedures, maintaining communication with recipients, and handling all associated documentation.

• Oversee daily expenditures, gather and verify necessary supporting documentation, and submit all expense-related records to the administrative office promptly.

Oversee field procurement operations, encompassing requirement identification, supplier sourcing, quotation acquisition, and adherence to established organizational policies and procedures.

Performs additional duties or functions as assigned, or as deemed essential by the Project Manager, to ensure the organization’s service standards are consistently met.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with advanced capabilities in data analysis and report generation. Experience with project management software such as Asana or Trello, and familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce. Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting findings clearly. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights. Exceptional organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Proven capability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting tight deadlines. Prior experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment is essential.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a closely related discipline is required.

With a minimum of three years of dedicated experience in international cooperation, particularly within community development and mobilization initiatives, candidates are expected to demonstrate a strong foundation in these areas.
