Exoplanet Bamboo West Africa is in search of a highly disciplined Field Manager to assume complete responsibility for operational results in designated areas. This position requires a seasoned supervisor with a hands-on leadership approach, prepared to drive performance and lead by example in the field.

The position involves overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across all assigned tasks. Key responsibilities include managing workflows, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a proven track record in operational management, and the ability to analyze data to drive informed decision-making. Additionally, they must demonstrate exceptional communication abilities, adaptability in fast-paced environments, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative workplace culture. Proficiency in relevant software tools and a minimum of five years of experience in a related field are required.

The Field Manager’s primary responsibility involves meticulously implementing daily and weekly operational plans. Based in the field full-time, this role demands accountability for crew preparedness, adherence to quality standards, compliance with SOPs, and prompt decision-making to uphold productivity levels.

Oversee and manage the full scope of duties assigned to this position, ensuring all tasks are completed with precision and efficiency. Implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and drive continuous improvement in daily processes. Serve as a key liaison between departments, fostering collaboration and alignment to achieve organizational goals. Develop and maintain robust systems to monitor performance metrics and track progress toward established targets. Provide leadership and guidance to team members, supporting their professional growth and ensuring adherence to best practices.

Confirm the daily assignments, task objectives, and quality benchmarks with the team each morning at 5:30 AM to ensure alignment and clarity before commencing operations.

Field leadership responsibilities include delivering daily toolbox talks and rotating between supervisor sites to ensure task quality and adherence to standard operating procedures.

Quality Control: Immediate cessation of operations is mandatory in the event of SOP violations or safety hazards, with swift implementation of corrective measures to restore compliance and mitigate risks.

Conduct time-and-motion studies to assess productivity and validate established benchmarks, subsequently proposing optimized crew sizes for enhanced operational efficiency.

Submit daily block summaries and maintain precise EHS and field documentation to ensure accuracy in all reporting.

Demonstrated proficiency in [specific skills, e.g., project management, data analysis, or software proficiency] is essential. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal and communication abilities to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
