JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our role involves delivering exceptional English Language and Literature instruction to secondary school students in alignment with the Cambridge International Curriculum. Additionally, we aim to cultivate a genuine passion for reading, writing, and clear communication while fostering students’ critical thinking, analytical abilities, and language proficiency to excel in Cambridge assessments and beyond.
Oversee a comprehensive range of critical tasks encompassing strategic planning and flawless execution of daily operational duties to drive organizational success. Develop, implement, and monitor initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, productivity, and overall performance metrics across all departments. Lead cross-functional teams by fostering collaboration, assigning clear responsibilities, and ensuring alignment with overarching business goals. Act as a primary liaison between senior management and staff, facilitating transparent communication to address challenges and promote a cohesive work environment. Regularly analyze market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage. Manage financial budgets, allocate resources effectively, and track expenditures to maintain fiscal responsibility and sustainability. Ensure strict adherence to company policies, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements in all business activities.
Plan, develop, and instruct dynamic English Language and Literature lessons in strict accordance with the Cambridge International Curriculum’s guidelines and standards.
Through strategic lesson planning, regular practice assessments, and focused revision sessions, we aim to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in their Cambridge examinations.
Facilitate the growth of students’ proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, listening, and analytical skills by employing engaging, interactive, and learner-focused instructional methods.
Craft engaging lesson plans that foster critical thinking, creativity, and strong communication skills among students.
Cultivate an inclusive, supportive, and effectively managed classroom atmosphere for all students.
Evaluate, track, and deliver actionable, constructive feedback regarding students’ academic performance on an ongoing basis.
Work collaboratively with peers to enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities and contribute to comprehensive school-wide initiatives.
Facilitate or assist with English-focused extracurricular initiatives, including debate societies, literary contests, book clubs, and theatrical performances.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in English, English Education, Literature, Linguistics, or a closely related discipline is required.
Proven track record in delivering the Cambridge International Curriculum effectively, with hands-on experience in its implementation and assessment methodologies.
Possesses a comprehensive grasp of English Language and Literature, with a thorough understanding of examination criteria and standards.
Proven ability to communicate effectively, collaborate seamlessly with others, and maintain a well-organized and productive learning environment.
