JOB DESCRIPTION:
Purpose Statement
To maintain secure and effective functioning of all electrical systems at the LPG tank farm in Ghana, including electrical panels, generators, gas detection systems, and metering/instrumentation, adherence to Ghana’s Energy Commission, EPA Ghana, and OSHA-equivalent regulatory standards is mandated.
Key Deliverables
Perform scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and systems operate efficiently and reliably, minimizing downtime and extending asset lifespan. Conduct routine inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and replacements of parts as necessary to prevent unexpected failures. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including dates, performed tasks, and any identified issues. Adhere to safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines while executing maintenance procedures. Collaborate with operations teams to align maintenance schedules with production demands. Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues before they escalate into major problems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
Performs corrective maintenance tasks to restore equipment or systems to proper operating condition following malfunctions or failures. Equipment Monitoring & Safety
This role is responsible for overseeing the inspection, maintenance, and compliance of all equipment to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
