The Video Editor serves as the driving force behind the digital team’s content production. Your core responsibility involves converting the founder’s sermons, teachings, and event recordings into compelling content that engages millions of viewers weekly on Facebook and YouTube. This role goes beyond conventional video editing—it demands sharp editorial discernment to identify the most impactful 90 seconds within a 60-minute sermon, the technical expertise to deliver polished, professional results, and a thoughtful approach to preserving the integrity and intent of the founder’s message.

You will oversee the creation of Reels content for both Facebook and Instagram, manage YouTube uploads, and establish live stream workflows for events and services. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Social Media Manager to ensure content is properly formatted and optimized for each platform prior to publication.

Oversee a comprehensive range of critical duties encompassing project management, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration to drive organizational objectives. Lead and mentor teams to ensure adherence to project timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards while fostering an environment of accountability and continuous improvement. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize operational efficiency and enhance team performance. Analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend data-driven solutions to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities for growth. Serve as a liaison between senior leadership and departmental teams to facilitate transparent communication and alignment with company goals. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, legal requirements, and internal policies to mitigate risks and uphold organizational integrity.

Edit and format sermon content into polished video clips optimized for various digital platforms, including Reels (60–90 seconds), YouTube Shorts, Facebook video clips, and full-length uploads, ensuring a consistent weekly schedule.

Oversee the YouTube channel’s operational workflow, including scheduling uploads, reviewing thumbnails, implementing chapter markers, optimizing descriptions, and ensuring consistent publishing cadence.

Craft visually compelling Instagram and Facebook Reels, ensuring seamless integration of caption overlays, precise audio adjustments, and adherence to each platform’s distinct formatting guidelines.

Develop and uphold a dynamic live stream production workflow tailored for GPWS events and services, collaborating closely with Dominion Studios to execute productions of event-scale proportions.

Responsibilities include preserving a systematically structured video archive within Google Drive, encompassing footage, exported files, and project files, while adhering to the team’s established naming conventions and folder organization.

To remain abreast of evolving platform algorithms—especially Facebook’s 1-minute view threshold and YouTube’s watch time and retention metrics—monitor these changes closely and adjust editing strategies as needed to optimize video performance.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Proficiency in written and verbal communication, strong organizational abilities, and meticulous attention to detail are essential. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in project management, with a proven track record of delivering results within established timelines. Analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and adaptability to dynamic environments are required. Familiarity with industry-specific software, data analysis tools, and collaborative platforms is necessary. Additionally, the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high degree of accuracy in all tasks is critical. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development is also expected.

What You Bring

Seeking a seasoned video editor with at least three years of hands-on professional experience, evidenced by a robust portfolio showcasing expertise in both long-form and short-form content creation.

Professional-level proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or da Vinci Resolve is required. Familiarity with Cap Cut, particularly for social media Reels production, would be considered an advantageous skill.

• Proficient in the specifications of social media video formats, including aspect ratios and platform-specific optimization requirements.

Editorial discernment is essential, enabling one to review an hour of content and pinpoint the most impactful moments efficiently.

A commitment to excellence and the capacity to deliver high-quality work under a structured weekly content schedule are essential. This position demands a continuous production commitment rather than a project-based approach.

You must demonstrate strong alignment with the ministry’s mission and vision. A significant portion of your role will involve engaging with the founder’s teachings, so you should uphold a deep appreciation and respect for this content.
