JOB DESCRIPTION:

A reputable organization in the IT & Electronics industry requires the services of a Customer Service Supervisor for its head office in UPSA/ Spintex/ Kasoa.

Job Summary

The Customer Service Supervisor is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, and supporting showroom operations in an electronic retail environment. The role focuses on customer engagement, product demonstration, sales conversion, and maintaining an attractive showroom while achieving defined sales and performance targets.

• Greet and assist walk-in customers warmly and professionally

• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products

• Build trust by clearly explaining product features and benefits

• Follow up with customers via calls, WhatsApp, or email for repeat business

• Maintain strong customer relationships to encourage referrals

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all IT and electronic products

• Demonstrate product features, usage, and benefits effectively

• Educate customers on pricing, warranties, and after-sales services

• Stay informed on new arrivals, promotions, and pricing updates

• Convert customer inquiries (walk-in and online) into actual sales

• Apply effective selling techniques, including:

• Upselling (encouraging higher-value products)

• Cross-selling (suggesting complementary items and accessories)

• Handle customer objections professionally (e.g., pricing concerns)

• Promote both affordable and premium products using appropriate value propositions

• Escalate requests for discounts or flexible payment options when necessary

• Process sales transactions accurately (cash, card, POS systems)

• Issue receipts and maintain accurate sales records

• Ensure accountability in all financial transactions

• Inform customers about ongoing promotions and special offers

• Encourage customers to follow company social media platforms

• Collect customer contact details for marketing and follow-ups

• Provide feedback on customer preferences and market trends

• Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive showroom environment

• Ensure all products are properly displayed with visible price tags

• Assist in setting up promotional displays and campaigns

• Ensure excellent customer experience regardless of purchase size

• Resolve minor customer complaints and escalate complex issues

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Minimum Bachelor degree in Marketing or related field is an advantage

• Prior retail or sales experience (preferably in electronics showroom)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Sales and negotiation skills

• Customer service orientation

• Good product knowledge (electronics/IT is a plus)

• Basic computer and POS system skills

• Ability to multitask and work under pressure

• Conversant with any CX software

• Retail showroom environment

• Requires standing for extended periods

• May involve weekend and holiday work
