Conduct between 15 and 20 household surveys daily.

Conduct thorough analyses of survey data to uncover viable prospects and cultivate meaningful client relationships.

The proposed groups should have their working areas clearly defined and marked.

• Engage in focused discussions with pre-selected target members in small-group settings.

Small teams of five members will be established systematically.

An individual will be appointed to serve as the leader for each small group, overseeing its activities and ensuring effective collaboration among members.

Formulate and lead a sizable governing committee to oversee organizational operations and strategic initiatives.

• Conduct a comprehensive two-week orientation program for large-scale group members.

Collect membership fees from the members in compliance with the directives outlined in the BRAD Ghana circular.

I will input each group member’s admission information directly into the mobile phone or tablet, ensuring timely synchronization with the system whenever feasible.

Schedule meetings by coordinating suitable dates, times, and venues to ensure optimal attendance and productivity.

A team must be assembled consisting of no fewer than 15 participants for Microfinance (MF) and 10 for Agra-Finance, while the total membership should not exceed 30 for MF and 20 for Agra-Finance.

We extend membership invitations to individuals when a group’s size diminishes due to attrition or other circumstances.

Facilitate two to three group meetings daily to ensure comprehensive engagement and progress tracking.

We conduct three meetings daily at 8:30 AM, 9:30 AM, and 10:30 AM, with the possibility of adjustments to accommodate office hours.

Ensure you arrive at the designated meeting location at least fifteen minutes prior to the scheduled start time.

Organize group members into a U-shaped formation based on their assigned small groups.

Record student attendance in the official register, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.

Weekly installment deposits should be collected from small group leaders by the respective small group cashiers, with signatures obtained on a mobile device to confirm receipt.

Cash received from group meetings held in proximity to a branch must be deposited at that branch before the next scheduled meeting to mitigate the risk of theft or robbery.

Staff members must adhere to established safety and security protocols when handling and transporting monetary funds to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.

Conduct thorough evaluations of loan proposals submitted by members during scheduled group meetings to facilitate informed discussions and deliberations.

Evaluate and approve loan proposals based on collective decision-making during group meetings, ensuring that all participants have the opportunity to contribute their input through verbal consensus.

The credit officer is responsible for accurately inputting all pertinent loan information into the digital system, including loan applications and guarantor details from DP Notes.

After confirming the validity of loan applications, establish the disbursement date and promptly notify the relevant members of the decision.

You must attend the disbursement day in person to actively engage in the disbursement process.

The credit officer is required to participate in weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly group meetings and must achieve full recovery of all loan installments.

Cash receipts must be promptly turned over to the Branch Accountant, and the deposited amount must be accurately recorded in the Daily Cash Report (DCR) with the required signature confirmation.

Any missed installments from the morning group meeting should be promptly followed by afternoon collections through direct visits to the homes of borrowers or small group leaders.

In the afternoon, undertake the collection of overdue payments, including late installments and those not yet billed (NBL), alongside current outstanding balances.

Should any clients who have previously had loans written off express interest in returning to BRAD as clients, the incumbent will be responsible for initiating the loan recovery process.

Attend the weekly staff meetings without fail.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports to ensure accurate and timely data analysis and documentation.

Adhere to all BRAD Human Resources policies and procedures in the execution of your duties, ensuring full compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Demonstrate the ability to promptly and effectively complete any additional tasks assigned by senior management.

Maintain strict compliance with the Microfinance staff Code of Conduct while ensuring all client interactions reflect professionalism and respect.

Dedicate efforts to delivering exceptional service quality to clients both in the field and at the branch office.

Demonstrate exceptional listening skills by attentively addressing clients’ complaints, concerns, and opinions, and respond with suitable actions to resolve their issues effectively.

To cultivate a robust safeguarding culture throughout the entire institution, the role will involve executing the safeguarding policy at all levels of the organization, ensuring comprehensive adherence and integration.

Provide essential support, guidance, and expert knowledge on safeguarding to foster a secure working environment.

To guarantee that team members receive the necessary training, support, and resources, you will oversee the implementation of identified issues and actions in alignment with safeguarding policies and procedures.

Adhere to established safeguarding reporting protocols whenever a reportable incident occurs, and actively promote adherence among colleagues.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

A minimum qualification of a Senior High School Certificate (WASSCE) is required.

• Prepare cash and bank transactions, including the generation of cash requisitions and cash certificates, as well as the compilation of bank reconciliation statements.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is required.

Minimum of one year of professional engagement within Microfinance or financial institutions is required.

Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel with a strong working knowledge of their respective functions and applications.

Demonstrates strong proficiency in conveying ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, fostering collaboration and understanding across teams.

Proficient in crafting clear, concise reports and articles in English, with exceptional writing and communication abilities.
