Responsibilities include administering 15 to 20 household surveys daily to gather comprehensive data for analysis and reporting.
Identify prospective clients by analyzing survey findings to uncover opportunities for engagement and partnership.
To establish clear boundaries for the designated working areas of proposed groups.
Engage in focused discussions with selected target members in smaller group settings to gather insights and feedback.
A team of up to five members will be assembled to collaborate on assigned tasks and projects, fostering a dynamic and efficient working environment.
A coordinator will be appointed to lead each small group, ensuring effective guidance and facilitation throughout the activities.
• Establish and lead a comprehensive large-scale group management committee to oversee collective objectives and ensure cohesive collaboration across all stakeholders.
Conduct a comprehensive two-week orientation program designed specifically for large groups of new members.
Responsibilities include processing admission fees from members in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the BRAD Ghana circular.
Enter group members’ admission details into the mobile phone or tablet, ensuring data is synchronized as frequently as feasible.
Organize meeting schedules, including dates, times, and locations, ensuring all participants receive timely notifications and necessary preparations are completed in advance.
A group must be established with a minimum of 15 members for Microfinance (MF) and 10 members for Agra-Finance, while adhering to a maximum group size of 30 members for Microfinance and 20 members for Agra-Finance.
Admit new members when a group’s size diminishes due to attrition or other circumstances to maintain adequate participation and engagement levels.
Facilitate two to three group meetings daily to ensure alignment, progress tracking, and collaborative problem-solving among team members.
The meeting schedule consists of three sessions beginning at 8:30 AM, 9:30 AM, and 10:30 AM, with the possibility of adjustments based on office hours.
Arrive at the designated meeting location no later than 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
Arrange the participants in a U-shape formation, ensuring each small group is positioned together for optimal interaction and collaboration.
Compiles attendance records in the designated register to ensure accurate tracking of participant presence.
Facilitate conversations regarding loan-related matters as well as address broader financial inquiries.
• Gather weekly installment deposits from small group leaders via the designated cashiers, obtaining signatures directly on a mobile device.
After concluding the group meetings by 1:30 PM, you will return to the office.
• Cash received from group meetings near a branch should be deposited at the branch before proceeding to another group meeting (To avoid robbery risk)
Employees must adhere to established safety and security protocols when handling and transporting funds to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Convene group meetings to deliberate on members’ loan proposals.
Loan proposals are evaluated and approved via collective verbal votes conducted among the group members.
• Credit officer should provide enter all loan data such as loan applications, guarantor details from DP Notes etc. in digital system.
After confirming the accuracy of loan applications, establish a disbursement date and promptly notify the members of the decision.
Must be physically present and actively participate in the disbursement process on the designated disbursement day.
The credit officer is required to participate in weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly group meetings while guaranteeing full recovery of all loan installments.
Cash receipts must be promptly submitted to the Branch Accountant and accurately recorded in the Daily Cash Report (DCR), with the deposited amount verified and signed off to confirm completion.
Any missed installments during the morning group meeting must be followed by immediate on-site collection efforts in the afternoon, involving direct visits to the homes of borrowers or small group leaders.
• Undertake afternoon collection efforts for overdue payments, including late and NBL installments, to ensure timely recovery.
Initiate the recuperation of previously written-off loans for clients interested in re-establishing their relationship with BRAD.
You are required to attend the weekly staff meetings without fail.
