Duty station for this position is located in Accra.
Daily attendance, client visitations, and movement tracking are to be confirmed on a regular basis.
Conduct on-site evaluations of entrepreneurs’ ventures and residences to identify potential business candidates and assess their suitability thoroughly.
• Verify the necessary documents of prospective entrepreneurs (trading license, land agreement, Tenancy Agreement, Spouse consent, Nominee and guarantor’s information etc.)
Prepare and finalize all required documentation for loan disbursements in accordance with established procedures and regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities include gathering all required documentation from individual clients and for loan disbursement purposes.
Ensure timely processing of monthly payments via mobile money or bank transfer.
Compiles and maintains comprehensive reports and strategic target plans, ensuring thorough documentation throughout the process.
• Conduct in-person follow-ups with borrowers following loan disbursements to assess their post-funding needs and address any immediate concerns.
• Conduct regular on-site inspections to verify the accuracy and quality of disbursements.
We collaborate closely with Account Managers and legal counsel to finalize and execute essential legal documentation, ensuring seamless contract execution and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Prepare weekly and monthly requisitions to facilitate loan disbursement, ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial requests.
• Uphold rigorous standards in the disbursement process while maintaining timely monthly collections of overdue accounts.
Ensure timely collection and submission of information regarding the borrower’s or their dependents’ death to insurers.
• Pursue the recovery of written-off loans and ensure funds are deposited into the appropriate accounts.
Consistently uphold and apply the Code of Conduct established for Microfinance staff, ensuring every client interaction is marked by respect and professionalism.

Demonstrate attentive listening when clients express complaints, concerns, or opinions, and respond with suitable actions to address their needs effectively.

Serve as a primary resource for counsel, direction, and specialized knowledge on safeguarding protocols to foster a secure working environment.
The incumbent will oversee the provision of training, guidance, and necessary resources for team members, ensuring they are fully equipped to address and resolve any concerns in strict alignment with the established safeguarding policy and procedure.
In the event of a reportable incident, adhere to the established safeguarding reporting procedure and promote its use among others.
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in technical and soft skills, including strong analytical abilities to interpret complex data, effective communication skills to convey insights clearly, and meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in deliverables. Experience with industry-standard software and tools, such as advanced Excel, data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau or Power BI), and project management systems, is essential. A minimum qualification of a Senior High School (SHS) certificate, such as the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), is required for this position.
Handles all cash and bank-related transactions, including preparing cash requisitions and cash certificates, as well as conducting bank reconciliation statements.
Demonstrates proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel applications.
With a minimum of one year of hands-on experience in the microfinance or financial services sector, candidates should demonstrate a proven track record in the industry.
