JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duty station for this position is situated in Accra.

• Verify daily attendance, track movements, and validate client business visits.

Conduct on-site evaluations of businesses and the residences of potential entrepreneurs to accurately assess their qualifications and viability.

Verify all required documentation from prospective entrepreneurs, including trading licenses, land agreements, tenancy agreements, spouse consent, and details pertaining to nominees and guarantors.

Prepare and finalize all required documentation for loan disbursements in accordance with established procedures and regulatory standards.

• Collect all needed documents from the individual clients and for loan disbursements

Ensure monthly installments are paid promptly through mobile money or bank transfers.

Compiles and maintains accurate records, reports, and strategic target plans to ensure comprehensive documentation and alignment with organizational objectives.

• Conduct follow-up visits with borrowers after loan disbursement to ensure compliance and address any immediate concerns.

Conduct regular on-site inspections to verify the accuracy and quality of disbursements in the field.

• Collaborate closely with Account Managers and legal counsel to finalize and execute legal documentation.

• Make weekly & monthly requisitions for loan disbursement.

• Maintain meticulous oversight of quality disbursement processes while ensuring timely and accurate monthly overdue collections.

Ensure timely collection and submission of borrower or dependent death information to insurers.

Conduct follow-up actions to collect on loans that have been written off and subsequently deposit the recovered funds into the appropriate accounts.

Adhere rigorously to the Microfinance staff Code of Conduct and demonstrate unwavering respect in all client interactions.

Dedicate efforts to delivering exceptional service quality to clients, both at the field location and within the branch office.

• Listen to clients’ complaints/concerns/opinions carefully and take appropriate measures

Develop and deliver periodic progress reports to ensure project transparency and accountability.

• Establish a safeguarding culture across all levels of the programme by implementing the safeguarding policy.

• Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

To ensure team members receive adequate training, support, and resource access, the incumbent will address issues in compliance with the safeguarding policy and procedure.

Adhere to the safeguarding reporting protocol whenever a reportable incident occurs, and actively promote adherence among colleagues.

Required Skills:

– Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
– Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, for data analysis and presentation.
– Capability to analyze complex information and derive actionable insights to support decision-making processes.
– Experience with project management tools and methodologies to ensure timely and successful project completion.
– A track record of problem-solving and adaptability in dynamic work environments.
– Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance standards relevant to the role.
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while aligning with organizational goals.
– Familiarity with CRM software and basic accounting principles to support customer relations and financial tracking.
– Commitment to continuous learning and professional development to stay current with industry trends.

A high school diploma, specifically the WASSCE certificate, is required.

Responsibilities include managing cash and bank transactions, preparing cash requisitions and certificates, and conducting bank reconciliation statements.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel applications is required.

• Experience: At least one year’s experience working in Microfinance/financial Institution.

• Knowledge of MS World, MS Excel

Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in conveying ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, fostering collaboration and understanding across diverse teams and stakeholders.

Proficient in crafting clear, concise, and grammatically accurate reports and written communications in English.
