We are in search of a skilled and forward-thinking Site & Operations Manager to supervise construction and project operations across our facilities in Accra. This position demands a proactive approach, robust leadership capabilities, exceptional organizational strengths, and the capacity to efficiently handle concurrent priorities.

Oversee a comprehensive range of duties, including the management of day-to-day operations to ensure seamless workflow, the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to drive organizational growth, and the supervision of team performance to maintain high productivity levels. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align on project goals, facilitate communication channels, and resolve interdepartmental challenges efficiently. Monitor key performance indicators to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions where necessary. Additionally, prepare and present reports to senior leadership, outlining achievements, challenges, and strategic recommendations to inform decision-making processes. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards to uphold organizational integrity and mitigate risks. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement by encouraging professional development and recognizing employee contributions.

Under our leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing site operations, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and maintaining efficient workflows to meet project deadlines. This role involves supervising on-site personnel, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, and addressing any operational challenges that may arise. You will also be tasked with monitoring site performance, managing budgets, and implementing best practices to enhance productivity and sustainability. Strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential for success in this position.

• Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and overseeing the acquisition of materials, equipment, and services to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Manages supplier relationships, evaluates vendor performance, and maintains a reliable supply chain to meet production and project timelines.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify material specifications, assess quality standards, and align procurement strategies with organizational goals.
• Ensures compliance with purchasing policies, negotiates contracts, and monitors inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Tracks market trends, analyzes pricing structures, and implements cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high-quality standards.

Supervises and leads a team to ensure optimal performance and adherence to organizational goals. REQUIRED SKILLS:

– Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++ with at least five years of hands-on development experience.
– Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
– Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
– Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Regis.
– Expertise in API development and integration using RESTful or GraphQL services.
– Solid grasp of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (IAC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
– Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently.
– Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
– Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
– Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies and version control systems like Git.

• Requires a minimum of five years of professional experience in site management, construction management, or a comparable discipline.

Demonstrated expertise in construction or infrastructure project execution within Ghana is required, with a preference for candidates who possess in-depth knowledge of the Accra market.

Proficient in procurement methodologies, materials management systems, and supplier network optimization.

Possesses strong communication and interpersonal abilities essential for effectively engaging with both teams and clients.

Proficient in analyzing and comprehending technical drawings and project plans with precision.

• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites across Accra.

Demonstrates strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a preference for candidates who possess additional experience using project management software.

A degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field is desirable.
