• Duty Station : Konongo and Ejisu

Conduct between 15 and 20 household surveys daily, ensuring comprehensive data collection and adherence to established protocols.

• Develop a list of prospective clients by analyzing survey data to uncover promising opportunities.

To clearly define and outline the designated workspace for proposed teams, establishing distinct boundaries and guidelines for each area.

Engage in focused conversations with designated target participants in small group settings.

A team of five members will be structured, fostering collaboration and collective problem-solving within a focused setting.

A designated leader will be chosen for every individual small group to facilitate coordination and ensure effective collaboration among its members.

A senior role responsible for establishing and leading an expansive group management committee is required. This position entails assembling a diverse and skilled committee to oversee and coordinate the strategic initiatives of the organization. The successful candidate will be tasked with defining the committee’s structure, ensuring effective collaboration among members, and driving the implementation of key objectives to enhance overall governance and performance.

Conduct a comprehensive two-week orientation program for participants in large-scale groups.

Collect member admission fees in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the BRAD Ghana circular.

Enter group members’ admission details into the mobile device or tablet, ensuring regular synchronization whenever feasible.

Coordinates the arrangement of meeting schedules, including confirmation of dates, times, and chosen venues.

A group must be formed with a minimum of 15 members for Microfinance (MF) and 10 for Agra-Finance, while the maximum allowed is 30 members for MF and 20 for Agra-Finance.

New members must be welcomed and enrolled when a group’s size diminishes due to attrition or other circumstances.

Facilitate two to three group meetings on a daily basis.

The meeting schedule is structured as follows: the first meeting at 8:30 AM, the second at 9:30 AM, and the third at 10:30 AM. Please note that these times are subject to adjustment depending on office hours.

Arrive at the designated meeting location no later than 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the group meeting.

• Organize group members into a U-shaped seating arrangement, ensuring alignment by small group.

Compile attendance records in the designated register, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for each session or period as required by institutional protocols.

Discuss various aspects related to loans and other pertinent topics to ensure comprehensive understanding and informed decision-making.

Collect mobile deposits weekly from small group leaders via the designated cashiers, ensuring each transaction is accompanied by a digital signature on the mobile device for verification.

Upon conclusion of the group meetings at 1:30 PM, you are required to return to the office.

To mitigate robbery risks, cash collected from group meetings conducted in proximity to a branch must be deposited at that branch prior to attending any subsequent group meetings.

Employees must adhere to established safety and security protocols throughout the process of handling and transporting monetary funds.

Facilitate thorough review and discussion of members’ loan proposals during scheduled group meetings.

Review loan applications following verbal approvals during group meetings with members present, ensuring all proposals meet established criteria before finalizing decisions.

The credit officer is responsible for accurately inputting all loan-related information into the digital system, including loan applications and guarantor details derived from DP Notes.

After confirming the accuracy of loan applications, determine an appropriate disbursement date and promptly notify the relevant members of the schedule.

You must attend in person on the designated disbursement day to actively engage in the disbursement process.

The credit officer is required to participate in weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly group meetings, with the responsibility of ensuring complete recovery of all loan installments.

Cash deposits must be promptly submitted to the Branch Accountant, who will record the deposited amount in the Daily Cash Report (DCR) and provide a signed confirmation of receipt.

Any missed installments during the morning group meeting must be followed up by afternoon visits to the borrowers’ or small group leaders’ residences to collect the payment.

Initiate the collection of overdue payments, including late and non-interest-bearing loan (NBL) installments, each afternoon, while also pursuing current overdue balances.

Serve as a primary resource for fostering awareness, providing counsel, and offering specialized knowledge on safeguarding measures to cultivate a secure operational environment.

To ensure team members receive adequate training, support, and resources, they must be guided in addressing and resolving safeguarding concerns in alignment with established policy and procedure.

• Promptly report any safeguarding incidents in accordance with established procedures and actively encourage others to do the same.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
– Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
– Strong written and verbal communication abilities to convey complex information clearly
– Demonstrated experience with SQL for database querying and manipulation
– Familiarity with programming languages like Python, R, or SAS for statistical modeling
