A credit officer is responsible for accurately entering all pertinent loan information into the digital system, including loan applications and guarantor details sourced from DP Notes.
After confirming the accuracy of loan applications, establish the disbursement date and promptly notify the relevant members.
To ensure your presence is required on the scheduled disbursement day, you must attend in person to actively engage in the disbursement process.
The credit officer is expected to participate in weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly group meetings and is responsible for ensuring the complete recovery of all loan installments.
Cash received must be promptly deposited with the Branch Accountant and verified by ensuring the deposited amount is accurately recorded in the Daily Cash Report (DCR) with the required signature.
Missed installments during the morning group meeting must be promptly collected in the afternoon by conducting visits to the homes of borrowers or their designated small group leaders.
• Facilitate the recovery of late and NBL installments during the afternoon, concurrently addressing current overdue collections.
In the event that a previously written-off client expresses interest in re-establishing their relationship with BRAD, the successful candidate will be responsible for initiating the loan recovery process for such clients.
