• Duty Station : Accra

• Monitor and verify daily attendance records, track movements, and oversee client business visits.

• Conduct on-site evaluations of potential entrepreneurs by visiting their business premises and residences to accurately assess their viability.

Ensure all required documentation from prospective entrepreneurs is thoroughly reviewed, including their trading license, land agreement, tenancy agreement, spouse consent, and details of nominees and guarantors.

Prepare and finalize all required documentation essential for loan disbursements.

Gather all required documentation from individual clients as well as for loan disbursement purposes.

• Facilitate the timely processing of monthly installments via mobile money or bank transfer.

Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of essential reports and strategic target plans.

After loan disbursements, conduct in-person visits to borrowers to assess their circumstances and ensure compliance with loan terms.

Conduct regular on-site inspections to validate that funds are distributed accurately and in compliance with established standards.

Collaborate closely with account managers and legal counsel throughout the signing and execution of legal documentation.

Prepare and submit weekly and monthly requisitions for loan disbursement.

• Maintain timely and accurate disbursement of funds while efficiently managing monthly collections of overdue payments.

Collect and promptly submit information regarding the death of a borrower or their dependents to the relevant insurers without delay.

• Pursue the recovery of written-off loans by collecting payments and depositing funds into designated accounts.

Employees must consistently uphold the Microfinance staff Code of Conduct and ensure all interactions with clients are conducted with the utmost professionalism and respect.

Dedicate efforts toward delivering exceptional client service both in the field and at the branch office to uphold the highest standards of quality.

Listen attentively to clients’ grievances, inquiries, and feedback, ensuring each concern is fully understood before determining the most suitable course of action.

Develop and submit comprehensive progress reports in a timely manner.

To foster a culture of safeguarding throughout every tier of the program, the role will involve implementing and upholding the safeguarding policy as a foundational priority.

Provide essential safeguarding guidance, support, and expertise to cultivate and maintain a secure working environment.

To ensure team members receive adequate training, support, and resource access, you will oversee the implementation of identified issues and actions in compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.

Adhere to established safeguarding reporting protocols upon occurrence of any incident requiring notification and actively advocate for others to follow the same procedures.

Required Competencies: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is mandatory, complemented by a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in the field. Proficiency in industry-standard software tools and advanced analytical capabilities are essential. Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail are non-negotiable. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities are also required to articulate complex information clearly. Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.

A secondary education certificate, specifically the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), is required.

Handles all cash and bank transactions, prepares cash requisitions and cash certificates, and performs bank reconciliation statements.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel applications is required.

Minimum of one year of professional experience within the microfinance sector or a financial institution is required.
