Duty station for this position includes the towns of Kong and Exist.
• Perform 15 to 20 household surveys daily, adhering to established protocols and maintaining a consistent schedule.
• Conduct thorough analysis of survey data to pinpoint prospective customers who align with the target market criteria.
To establish clear boundaries for the designated working zones, outlining specific areas for each proposed group.
Facilitate one-on-one or small-group conversations with the selected target members to gather insights and address their specific needs.
Small teams of five members will be established to facilitate collaborative efforts and enhance productivity across projects.
A designated leader will be chosen for each small group to facilitate coordination and ensure effective collaboration among team members.
Compose a senior leadership committee responsible for overseeing large-scale group operations.
Conduct a thorough two-week orientation program tailored for participants in large groups to ensure comprehensive onboarding and familiarity with organizational processes.
• Members’ admission fees are collected in accordance with the BRAD Ghana circular.
Responsible for inputting group members’ admission details into mobile devices, such as phones or tablets, and ensuring timely synchronization of the data whenever feasible.
Coordinate meeting dates, times, and locations to ensure optimal attendance and alignment with organizational objectives.
A group must be formed consisting of at least 15 members for Microfinance (MF) and 10 members for Agra-Finance, with an upper limit of 30 members for MF and 20 for Agra-Finance.
Qualified candidates will evaluate group dynamics to determine when additional enrollment is necessary to maintain optimal membership levels. This includes assessing attrition rates and other factors that may reduce group size, then facilitating the integration of new participants as required.
Convene two to three group sessions daily to facilitate collaboration and progress.
The meetings are scheduled as follows: the first meeting at 8:30 AM, the second at 9:30 AM, and the third at 10:30 AM. These times are subject to adjustment, depending on office hours.
Arrive at the designated meeting location fifteen minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the group meeting.
Arrange participants in a U-shaped formation, ensuring each small group is positioned together, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
Attend to the process of recording student presence in the attendance register during each session.
Facilitate comprehensive consultations regarding loan-related matters and address diverse financial inquiries comprehensively.
Collect weekly installment deposits from designated small group leaders via their respective cashiers, ensuring each transaction is documented by capturing signatures on a mobile device.
Returning to the office is required following the conclusion of group meetings, scheduled for 1:30 PM.
Cash received from group meetings held in proximity to a branch must be deposited at that branch prior to traveling to the next meeting to mitigate the risk of theft.
Employees must adhere to established safety and security protocols when handling and transporting funds.
All loan proposals submitted by members must be thoroughly reviewed and deliberated upon during the designated group meetings.
• Review and evaluate loan proposals by conducting verbal voting sessions involving all group members to determine approval or denial.
The credit officer is responsible for accurately entering all loan-related information, including loan applications and guarantor details from DP Notes, into the digital system.
After confirming the accuracy of loan applications, the individual is responsible for establishing the disbursement date and promptly notifying all relevant members of the decision.
You must attend the disbursement day in person to actively engage in the disbursement process.
The credit officer is expected to actively participate in weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly group meetings and maintain a 100% recovery rate for all loan installments.
Cash received must be promptly deposited with the Branch Accountant, and the deposited amount must be accurately recorded in the Daily Cash Report (DCR) with the appropriate signature to confirm the transaction.
Any installment not collected during the morning group meeting should be pursued in the afternoon by conducting door-to-door visits to the residences of borrowers or small group leaders.
In the afternoon, commence the process of collecting outstanding late and NBL installments, in addition to addressing current overdue payments.
If a client whose loan was previously written off expresses interest in rejoining BRAD as a client, the individual in this role is responsible for initiating the loan recovery process.
You are expected to attend the weekly staff meetings as scheduled.
Compiles comprehensive reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to ensure accurate and timely documentation of key metrics and activities.
Adhere to all established HR policies and procedures as outlined by BRAD to ensure compliance and standardization within the organization.
