JOB DESCRIPTION:
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions in heavy-duty vehicles, including models such as Streak and How, as well as earthmoving equipment like Shanty bulldozers and loaders.
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, comprehensive engine overhauls, transmission repairs, brake system adjustments, suspension work, and steering system services.
Perform welding and fabrication repairs on chassis, frames, and associated attachments as required to maintain structural integrity and operational functionality.
• Use diagnostic tools and service manuals to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labor hours.
Ensure adherence to all manufacturer specifications and safety standards in the execution of every task.
Oversee the inventory of frequently utilized spare parts and provide guidance on reordering to maintain optimal stock levels.
Provide guidance and support to junior mechanics or apprentices as needed, fostering their professional development and ensuring skill enhancement.

With a minimum of three to five years of practical experience working with Chinese heavy-duty trucks and construction machinery—such as Shanty, Streak, How, or comparable brands—the ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation and industry expertise.
• Possesses in-depth expertise in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and pneumatic systems.
Skilled in operating diagnostic scanners, multimeters, and a comprehensive range of standard mechanic tools with precision and expertise.
Proficient in interpreting technical diagrams and service manuals written in English.
Physically capable and equipped to handle the demands of lifting heavy components and performing duties in both outdoor and workshop environments.
