Duty station for this role is based in Accra.

• Monitor and verify daily attendance records, track employee movements, and confirm scheduled business visits with clients.

Conduct on-site evaluations of prospective entrepreneurs by visiting both their business premises and personal residences to accurately assess their potential.

Verify all required documentation from prospective entrepreneurs, including trading licenses, land agreements, tenancy agreements, spouse consent forms, as well as nominee and guarantor details, to ensure compliance with established regulations.

• Compile and submit all required documentation for loan disbursement processes.

Gather all necessary documentation from individual clients and for loan disbursement purposes.

Ensure prompt settlement of monthly installments via mobile money or bank transfer.

Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for required reports and strategic target plans to ensure comprehensive record-keeping and alignment with organizational objectives.

Following loan disbursements, conduct on-site visits to borrowers to assess their progress and address any concerns.

Conduct regular on-site inspections to verify the accuracy and integrity of disbursements in the field.

Work collaboratively with Account Managers and legal counsel to facilitate the execution and completion of legal documentation.

Prepare and submit weekly and monthly requisitions for loan disbursement to ensure timely processing and allocation of funds.

Ensure accurate and timely disbursement of funds while maintaining a rigorous monthly collection process for overdue accounts.

Ensure timely submission of borrower or dependent death information to insurers.

Conduct follow-up procedures to collect accounts that have been written off and ensure the funds are deposited into the appropriate accounts.

Consistently uphold the Microfinance staff Code of Conduct and engage with clients in a professional and respectful manner at all times.

Dedicate efforts to delivering exceptional client service both in the field and at the branch office.

Demonstrate attentive listening to clients’ complaints, concerns, and opinions, ensuring all issues are understood and addressed through suitable actions.

Compiles and submits periodic progress reports detailing project status, milestones achieved, and any deviations from the planned timeline, ensuring stakeholders are kept informed of developments.

• Foster a safeguarding culture at every level of the program through the enforcement of the safeguarding policy.

Serve as a primary resource for providing support, guidance, and specialized knowledge regarding safeguarding to cultivate a secure working environment.

• The incumbent is tasked with overseeing the provision of training, guidance, and necessary resources to team members to address identified issues, ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.

In the event of any reportable incident occurring, adhere to the established safeguarding reporting procedure diligently and actively encourage others to do the same.
