Job Summary

The Trade Developer will spearhead field-level sales initiatives, ensuring strategic market coverage while enhancing brand visibility and agent productivity. Additionally, they will be tasked with meeting and exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets within their designated territory.

Provide assistance during onboarding initiatives across various locations, including markets, university campuses, transit centers, and local community gatherings.

• Acquire and integrate new merchants and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) into the platform.

To effectively communicate the value proposition of our offerings, you will facilitate comprehensive understanding of product features and benefits among merchants.

Provide assistance to customer service representatives in their efforts to attract new clients and execute promotional initiatives.

Conceive and implement innovative field marketing initiatives alongside promotional endeavors to enhance brand visibility and engagement in targeted markets.

Maintain meticulous documentation of all onboarding processes to ensure comprehensive record-keeping.

Required skills include proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience in data analysis, financial modeling, or related fields is highly desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as the role involves preparing reports, making presentations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines are also necessary. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required, along with a minimum of three years of experience in software development or a closely related role. Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or C# is essential, along with strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset. Familiarity with agile methodologies, version control systems (e.g., Git), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams are also key requirements.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Marketing, or a closely related discipline is required.

Proficiency in the Mobile Money, Banking, Telecom, FMCG, or a comparable industry is highly desirable.
