Job Summary

The Trade Developer will spearhead field-level sales initiatives, optimize market coverage, enhance brand visibility, and boost agent productivity to consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets within their designated territory.

Key Responsibilities

Circle, OSU, Makola, Kaneohe, Accra New Town, and Tutu & Alabama in Accra serve as the designated work locations for this position.

• Acquire and onboard new clients seeking individual wallet services with diligence and efficiency.

• Spearhead wallet activation initiatives and verify that customers complete their initial transactions.

• Support onboarding drives in markets, campuses, transport hubs, and community events.

• Identify and onboard individual merchants and SMEs.

Ensure merchants are thoroughly informed about the product’s capabilities and advantages to facilitate informed decision-making.

Provide assistance to agents in driving customer acquisition initiatives and promotional efforts.

Conceive, strategize, and oversee on-site marketing initiatives as well as promotional events designed to amplify brand awareness and drive engagement in designated target markets.

Maintain meticulous documentation of all onboarding processes to ensure thorough and precise record-keeping.

Must have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in systems engineering or software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, as well as familiarity with DevOps practices, is required. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are also necessary to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Business, Marketing, or a closely related discipline is required for this position.

A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in field sales is required.

Preferred candidates will have prior experience in Mobile Money, Banking, Telecom, FMCG, or other relevant sectors, though this is not an absolute requirement.

Proven ability to navigate and utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems effectively is required.

Demonstrates proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and Word.

• Ability to interpret sales targets and performance metrics.

Proficiency with the mobile money ecosystem and digital payment solutions is advantageous.
