• Verify daily attendance, monitor client visits, and track employee movements.

A thorough assessment of potential entrepreneurs is conducted by visiting their business premises and residences to gather comprehensive insights about their operations and background.

Prospective entrepreneurs must have all required documentation verified, including a valid trading license, land agreement, tenancy agreement, spouse’s consent, and details for nominees and guarantors, among other materials.

Prepare and finalize all required documentation necessary for processing loan disbursements accurately and efficiently.

• Gather all required documentation from individual clients as well as for loan disbursement purposes.

• Facilitate the timely processing and disbursement of monthly installments via mobile money or bank transfer.

Prepare and maintain all required reports and target plans with thorough documentation.

Conduct post-disbursement visits to borrowers to assess their financial well-being and ensure compliance with loan terms.

• Conduct regular on-site inspections to verify the accuracy of disbursements.

Collaborate closely with Account Managers and legal counsel to facilitate the execution and commissioning of legal documentation.

• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly requisitions for loan disbursements.

We maintain rigorous compliance with disbursement protocols to guarantee the accuracy and timeliness of fund releases, while also executing strategic overdue collections on a monthly basis to uphold financial accountability and minimize arrears.

Collect and submit information regarding a borrower’s or dependent’s death to insurers promptly and accurately.

• Pursue the recovery of written-off loans and ensure the proceeds are deposited into the appropriate accounts in a timely manner.

Consistently uphold the Microfinance staff Code of Conduct while demonstrating respectful interactions with clients at all times.

Dedicate efforts to delivering exceptional client service, both in the field and at the branch office.

Demonstrate attentive listening to clients’ grievances, inquiries, and feedback, ensuring thorough understanding before implementing suitable resolutions.

Compiling and submitting timely progress reports forms a critical component of this role. These reports must accurately document project milestones, challenges encountered, and resolutions implemented to ensure transparency and alignment with organizational objectives.

• Foster a robust safeguarding culture throughout every tier of the program by executing the safeguarding policy.

Provide essential support, guidance, and specialized knowledge in safeguarding to cultivate a secure working environment.

To uphold compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures, this role involves ensuring team members receive adequate training, sustained support, and necessary resources to address and resolve identified issues effectively.

• Promptly adhere to established safeguarding reporting protocols whenever any incident requiring notification occurs, and actively promote adherence among colleagues.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: Proficiency in written and verbal communication to convey complex information clearly and concisely is essential. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to interpret data and make informed decisions. Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum is preferred. Familiarity with relevant software tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, or industry-specific platforms, is required. The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines is critical. Additionally, a commitment to continuous learning and adaptability to evolving technologies is necessary.

A minimum qualification of Senior High School Certificate, specifically WASSCE, is required.

Handles all cash and bank-related transactions, including preparing cash requisitions and cash certificates, as well as conducting bank reconciliation statements to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel applications is essential.

With a minimum of one year of hands-on experience in a microfinance or financial institution setting, the ideal candidate will bring practical expertise to the role.
