The Video Editor serves as the driving force behind the digital team’s production efforts. Your core responsibility involves converting the founder’s sermons, teachings, and event recordings into compelling content that engages millions of viewers on Facebook and YouTube weekly. This is a specialized role that demands more than basic editing skills—it requires discerning editorial judgment to identify the most impactful 90 seconds from a 60-minute sermon, the technical proficiency to deliver polished, high-quality results, and a deep sense of reverence to preserve the integrity of the founder’s message.

You will oversee Reels production for both Facebook and Instagram, manage YouTube uploads, and establish a live stream workflow for events and services. Collaboration with the Social Media Manager is essential to ensure content is tailored and optimized for each platform prior to publication.

Oversee a range of critical duties, including managing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring adherence to company policies and industry standards. Facilitate effective communication between departments to align objectives and resolve potential conflicts. Conduct thorough evaluations of workflows to identify inefficiencies and implement data-driven improvements. Lead cross-functional initiatives to drive innovation and enhance operational performance. Monitor key performance indicators to assess progress and report findings to senior leadership. Maintain meticulous documentation of processes, decisions, and outcomes to support audits and compliance reviews.

Edit and package sermon content into clips optimized for various platforms, including 60–90 second Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook video clips, and full-length videos, ensuring a reliable weekly delivery schedule.

Oversee the YouTube channel’s operational workflow, including the strategic scheduling of uploads, meticulous review of thumbnails, precise implementation of chapter markers, optimization of video descriptions, and ensuring consistent content delivery.

Create engaging Instagram and Facebook Reels by designing caption overlays, optimizing audio, and ensuring content aligns with each platform’s unique formatting requirements.

Develop and maintain a dynamic live stream production workflow tailored for GPWS events and services, while collaborating closely with Dominion Studios to execute high-scale productions seamlessly.

Maintain a well-structured video archive in Google Drive, including footage, exported files, and project files, adhering to the team’s established naming conventions and folder structure.

To remain abreast of evolving platform algorithms—especially Facebook’s 1-minute view threshold and YouTube’s watch time and retention metrics—adjust editing strategies proactively to align with these performance-driven requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Proficiency in written and verbal communication to convey complex information clearly, strong analytical abilities to interpret data and solve problems, and adeptness with industry-specific software and tools to enhance productivity. Candidates should possess organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently, attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all deliverables, and collaborative skills to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams. What You Bring

Seeking a candidate with at least three years of hands-on experience in professional video editing, supported by a portfolio showcasing proficiency in both long-form and short-form content creation.

Professional-level expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, da Vinci Resolve, or comparable industry-standard editing platforms is required, with additional preference given to candidates possessing working knowledge of Cap Cut for Reels content creation.

Proficient in social media video formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific optimization techniques to ensure maximum engagement and compatibility.

Demonstrates strong editorial judgment by efficiently reviewing extensive footage to pinpoint key moments with precision and discernment.

This position requires a disciplined approach to work, ensuring reliable and steady aligned with a structured weekly content schedule. Unlike project-based roles, this is a continuous production commitment, demanding sustained effort and consistency.
