The Video Editor serves as the driving force behind the digital team’s production efforts. Central to this role is the transformation of the founder’s sermons, teachings, and event recordings into compelling content that engages millions of viewers on Facebook and YouTube each week. This position goes beyond standard video editing, demanding refined editorial discernment to select the most impactful 90 seconds from a 60-minute sermon that can captivate audiences mid-scroll. Additionally, it requires advanced technical proficiency to execute the work to a polished, professional standard, as well as a deep spiritual awareness to handle the founder’s teachings with the utmost care and respect.

You will oversee the creation and production of Reels content for both Facebook and Instagram, manage YouTube uploads, and establish efficient live stream workflows for events and services. In collaboration with the Social Media Manager, you will ensure that content is properly formatted and optimized for each platform prior to publication.

Oversee and execute critical tasks including the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives while fostering collaboration across departments to drive operational excellence. Manage and mentor teams to achieve performance targets, monitor progress through data-driven metrics, and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity. Serve as a liaison between senior leadership and frontline employees to communicate goals, provide updates on key performance indicators, and facilitate transparent dialogue to resolve challenges. Lead cross-functional projects by coordinating resources, assigning clear responsibilities, and maintaining accountability to deliver measurable results within established timelines. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies while upholding the highest standards of professional conduct and ethical integrity in all business dealings.

We transform sermon content into engaging, platform-optimized video segments, including Reels (60–90 seconds), YouTube Shorts, Facebook clips, and full-length uploads, maintaining a consistent weekly delivery schedule.

Oversee the operational aspects of the YouTube channel, ensuring streamlined production workflows by scheduling uploads, reviewing thumbnails, implementing chapter markers, optimizing video descriptions, and maintaining consistent uploads.

• Create engaging Instagram and Facebook Reels content, incorporating caption overlays, optimizing audio, and ensuring compliance with each platform’s unique formatting requirements.

Develop and sustain a dynamic live stream production workflow tailored for GPWS events and services, collaborating with Dominion Studios to execute productions at an event scale.

Maintain a meticulously structured video archive within Google Drive, encompassing raw footage, exported files, and project files, adhering strictly to the team’s established naming conventions and folder hierarchy.

Remain abreast of platform algorithm updates that influence video engagement, with a strong emphasis on Facebook’s 1-minute view threshold and YouTube’s watch time and retention metrics, and adjust editing techniques to align with these shifts.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

What You Bring

A minimum of three years of professional experience in video editing is required, and applicants must present a portfolio showcasing proficiency in both long-form and short-form content creation.

Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or da Vinci Resolve is essential, with a strong preference for experience in Reels production using Cap Cut.

Proficient knowledge of various social media video formats, aspect ratios, and techniques for optimizing content for different platforms is required.

• Strong editorial judgment is essential, encompassing the skill to efficiently review an hour of footage and pinpoint the most impactful moments.

A high level of professionalism and dedication is essential, with a proven ability to maintain steady within a structured weekly content schedule. This position requires a continuous production focus rather than a project-oriented approach.

You must demonstrate alignment with the ministry’s mission and core values. A substantial portion of your time will be dedicated to engaging with the founder’s teachings, requiring a deep appreciation for and adherence to this material.
