The Video Editor serves as the driving force behind the digital team’s production efforts. Your core responsibility involves converting the founder’s sermons, teachings, and event recordings into compelling content that engages millions of viewers on Facebook and YouTube weekly. This is a specialized role that demands more than standard video editing—it requires discerning editorial judgment to identify the most impactful 90-second segments from a 60-minute sermon, technical expertise to deliver work of the highest professional caliber, and a deep sense of spiritual awareness to honor the founder’s teachings with precision and respect.

You will oversee Reels production for both Facebook and Instagram, manage YouTube content uploads, and establish a live stream workflow for events and services. Collaboration with the Social Media Manager is essential to ensure content is tailored and optimized for each platform prior to publication.

Oversee and execute a range of critical duties encompassing strategic planning, team leadership, and operational management to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to drive productivity, quality, and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align goals, resolve challenges, and foster innovation while maintaining clear communication channels. Monitor progress through regular assessments, data analysis, and reporting identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, supporting their professional growth and accountability in achieving collective success.

• Transform sermon content into platform-specific video clips, including Reels (60–90 seconds), YouTube Shorts, Facebook video clips, and full-length uploads, ensuring a reliable weekly schedule.

Oversee the YouTube channel’s production workflow, ensuring timely uploads through strategic scheduling, meticulous thumbnail assessments, precise chapter marker implementation, and optimized description formatting, while upholding a consistent publishing cadence.

Maintain a meticulously structured video archive on Google Drive, organizing footage, exported files, and project files in alignment with the established naming conventions and folder hierarchy defined by the team.

To maintain optimal video performance, consistently monitor updates to platform algorithms—with a focus on Facebook’s 1-minute view threshold and YouTube’s watch time and retention metrics—and modify editing strategies to align with these evolving requirements.

Exhibits strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to assess complex situations and derive effective solutions.
