JOB DESCRIPTION:
The School is looking for a skilled and seasoned Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) to collaborate with our inclusive learning support team as an independent contractor.
The ideal applicant will deliver tailored therapeutic services to students spanning Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12, focusing on individualized and small-group interventions to foster speech, language, and communication skills. Strong technical proficiency is required for this position. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in relevant software, tools, or methodologies pertinent to the role. The successful candidate must demonstrate the required qualifications, relevant experience, and key abilities outlined below.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred. Minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience is necessary, with at least two years in a supervisory or management role. Proficiency in GAAP and strong technical skills in ERP systems are essential. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational abilities are critical for success in this position.
A strong candidate will possess comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience within the specified domain, coupled with a proven ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical challenges. Demonstrated proficiency in relevant tools, technologies, and methodologies is essential, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. A bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a closely related field is required for this position.
Holds a current and valid license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in educational environments, specifically with children aged three to eighteen, is required.
A background in international education settings is advantageous.

Proven track record collaborating with individuals from varied cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Proficiency in utilizing technology and digital tools, including Google applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, and AAC devices, is required.
Professional experience in or training on specialized therapeutic methods such as PROMPT, V&V, and related techniques is required.
