Background

ISO DEC is actively seeking a dependable and meticulous Cleaner to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our facilities. This position is to be filled immediately.

Job Purpose

To maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards across ISO DEC offices and shared spaces, ensuring a safe and inviting environment for both employees and guests.

Oversee a range of critical duties and responsibilities, ensuring seamless operational execution and alignment with organizational objectives. Facilitate the planning, coordination, and supervision of tasks to uphold productivity, efficiency, and adherence to established standards. Address multifaceted challenges through strategic problem-solving and proactive decision-making to enhance performance outcomes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster synergy, innovation, and continuous improvement in workflows. Maintain meticulous documentation, reporting, and compliance with regulatory and internal policies to safeguard organizational integrity. The Cleaner will be accountable to the Administrative Officer or any appointed supervisor.

The engagement will be governed by specific terms outlining the duration, scope, compensation, and expectations for both parties. All deliverables, milestones, and reporting requirements must be adhered to as mutually agreed upon. Confidentiality, intellectual property rights, and termination clauses will be clearly defined to ensure compliance and protection. The contractor is expected to maintain professionalism, meet deadlines, and align with the organization’s policies throughout the engagement. Any amendments to the terms must be documented and approved in writing by authorized representatives.

Sweep, mop, and vacuum all floors throughout offices, hallways, and shared spaces to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Dust and clean all furniture, fixtures, windows, and doors to maintain a pristine and orderly environment. Ensure surfaces are free of dust, smudges, and debris while carefully handling delicate items to prevent damage.

Empty trash receptacles and ensure refuse is discarded in accordance with proper disposal protocols.

Perform thorough cleaning and disinfection of restrooms, ensuring all fixtures remain well-stocked with essential toiletries at all times.

Clean kitchen and pantry areas thoroughly, ensuring all surfaces and storage spaces are sanitized. Wash dishes, cups, and utensils as required, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization to support efficient kitchen operations.

All maintenance issues, damages, and supply requirements must be promptly reported to the supervisor for immediate attention and resolution.

• Adhere to health and safety standards in use of cleaning chemicals

• Execute any additional cleaning responsibilities as deemed necessary by management.

Weekly scheduling is required, with one fixed session to be determined at the time of engagement.
