Familiarity with version control systems like Git and knowledge of database management are preferred.
A Master’s degree or higher in biodiversity, environmental science, natural resource management, geographic information systems (GIS), or a closely related discipline is required.
Candidates must possess a minimum of five years of practical experience in the establishment and implementation of Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) or environmental monitoring systems.
• Demonstrates a strong track record in evaluating data systems and environmental governance frameworks.
Individuals possessing this role should demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of biodiversity challenges and initiatives across West Africa, with a preferred emphasis on Ghanaian contexts.
Demonstrated expertise in data management systems and/or geographic information systems (GIS) software is required.
• Demonstrates outstanding analytical, writing, and summarizing abilities.
Fluency in English is a non-negotiable requirement, with proficiency in French considered a valuable additional qualification.
