The Husky Machine Technician is tasked with installing, operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing Husky injection molding machines utilized in manufacturing processes. This position is critical to ensuring optimal machine performance, reducing unplanned downtime, and contributing to production goals while upholding stringent quality and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
• Position: Located in Kumasi, this role requires occasional travel to other regions as needed.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Husky injection molding machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on machinery and associated auxiliary systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability, addressing both preventative measures and corrective actions as needed.
Diagnose a wide range of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic malfunctions to accurately identify underlying system issues.
Ensure all machinery is correctly configured and prepared for each production cycle to maintain optimal operational efficiency.
Monitor machine operations to evaluate performance metrics and implement required modifications aimed at enhancing overall efficiency.
Proactively reduce production downtime by performing efficient repairs and conducting regular maintenance.
To guarantee that all products adhere to the established quality standards, meticulous oversight of production processes and final inspections are conducted to validate compliance with specifications.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records and reports ensuring compliance with operational standards and regulatory requirements.
Always adhere to established safety protocols and company regulations without exception.
Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to address and resolve technical challenges efficiently.
Assist with the installation and commissioning of machinery as needed.
Required Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong expertise in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with CRM systems and data analysis tools preferred.
